Bonjour ,votre kit en aluminium est très bien mais votre vidéo est complètement fantaisiste. tout d'abord on ne doit pas mettre de la graisse sur la partie octogonale qui vient s'emboiter et bloquer le volet. ensuite le joint torique noir ne s'enfile pas comme ça sur la valve disa mais doit remplacer le joint torique orange qui doit etre préalablement enlevé puis gratté. Hello, your aluminum kit is very good but your video is completely fanciful. first of all, you must not put grease on the octagonal part which fits together and blocks the shutter. then the black o-ring does not fit like that on the disa valve but must replace the orange o-ring which must first be removed and then scraped.

Also, the guy forgot to remove the orange silicone seal on the old unit in this video before installing the new O-Ring.

Had mine delivered today and just finished fitting, at 1st I though it was the wrong part as the valve didn't want to fully close but after a spray of dry silicone lube and a little wearing away of the orange silicone stuff it has become good. No check engine lights at idle so that's a good sign, I'll update once the diff is back in the car and I can test drive it. So far happy with the quality, bit pricey for what it is but 8ts cheaper than a blown engine 😅

Hi, i upgradet my Disa with your kit. I saw that mounting the disa with the new o-ring is very strong. Is that normal? I needed to mount it with the screws!

Is the flap supposed to open or closed when the crank goes in? This is not working out for me.

So just to confirm, Do we replace the orange O ring or not? Your video says to just place it at the base of the unit. Other sources online are saying to remove the orange O ring

What about the membrane? How to open and exchange it? Because what you show is very easy, but try to exchange the membrane which may be also damaged.

@@Wormarder close the flap and hold your finger over the nipple the vacuum line attaches to. If the diaphragm holds vacuum it will hold the flap closed and open it when you release your finger.
