Dont use an air tool , 10mm 3/8th drive rachet is perfect , Drop a nut and your screwed AND u dont need to disconnect the coil leads , Undo the retaining nuts with your 3/8 ratchet and the coil comes out, I just did my E36 325i , took 30 minutes to do all 6 didnt drop a nut or a bolt

Well done for doing yours, thanks for all the tips, am not using an air gun by the way is an electric one which stops when sensing pressure. any way all the best :)

I would thing the 525i 1993 has the same engine as the one in the video...
