@@UC559 Check you Vanos unit, you might have to rebuild it or get a new one.

Hi guy learning a lot from y’all. I have a 2012 x5 xdrive 35i. I have just got done replacing the seals on oil cooler and housing. Wife drove it for a week went to get granddaughter and it came home on a tow truck. Car starts and run but sounds like it about to blow. I thought disa valve at first but now on this video know it isn’t. Any thoughts on what it might be before I pull it and spend a ton of money on it? Thanks. Tony.

Hi guys, great videos, keep up the good work. I have similar problem with ny e39 with M52TU, dont know if it is exactly the same. Seems like it happens at different revs with different gears. For example with second gear the noise exists at 2800-3000 rpm, with 3rd gear at 1800-2000 and at 4rth gear lower. The mechanic told me is the gear box and i replaced it with a second hand gear box, but the noise remained. He claims the used gearbox is also problematic which i dont believe. Could you help? And also if i buy the DISA from your store, is there any video how to replace it? Thanks again

Please help. You were the 1st person I thought to ask. Love your videos. Just wish I had the confidence to actually do the work on and myself. I have done something stupid. I Changed oil filter, and drained the car. Tried to start it and remembered straight away and stopped. Topped up the oil. Then tried to start again. Now it's starting. But struggling. And there is no power at all. Almost feels like it's run out of petrol. It's giving me a P0340 code. I got a new camshaft position sensor and no difference. please HELP 🙏✌️👏

Is there something similar on Honda engines? L13A Engine? Sorry for the dumb kinda question. It's just that i see lot of similarities on your noise and the noise i am hearing. It all happens in the same RPM range and they are all difficult to hear souding pretty similar. In another video from DISA valve failure on idle i could hear a noise i thought it was normal on my engine, but i think it's a problem maybe? Near the throttle boddy. Please help, i am getting crazy. No body seems to be able to hear it, every mechanics tell me the engine is ok, but i am the owner and i can tell for sure if a different noise is there. I surely hear a different noise

hi guy's, i have a 07 E90 2lt petrol full service history, has 126,000klm or 78,292miles. i have had the timing chain replaced, cam springs and bolts replaced and i am still getting the same rattle between 1500 -2000 rpms it sounds just like this video. is it possible for this to happen in the 2lt?

I am experiencing a similar rattle sound only at 2-3000 rpm, Lower than that the sound disappears or higher than that the sound disappears. It's a bmw e92 m3 so I am thinking it's the bearings. Have you guys experienced a similar problem on the e9x platform?

bro change the oil and if its metal flakes inn the oil you need to replace your rod bearings. hope this is not to late :O
