Why was the crank hub changed? I'm going to boost my M54. I hope I don't have to change the crank hub.

These are pron to spinning the crankhub, if you look at our video list we did a full video on one that explains pretty well. I would 1000 percent recommend upgrading the crankhub!

@ jay z3 these guys sound like they don’t know what you’re talking about. BMW introduced the crank hub in their “N” engine family. A crank hub to put it simple is the nose of the crank where the timing & pump gears are. Most engines have a fixed crank nose with a woodruff key to keep the gears in place. Bmw turned this onto a nightmare, they chopped off the nose and made it a separate part number, they removed the woodruff key and replaced it with small sandpaper friction discs, and separated the gears into 2 different part numbers. Your M54 Z3 is safe from crankhub as it doesn’t have one, idk why someone would recommended you to upgrade a part that doesn’t apply to your engine lolol

If you need crank hub and a few other things I would a say a little under 10k

The Brand of turbo has absolutely no affect on the numbers that a car produces. If it can flow air it will make a number…

@@2sauced224 yeah obviously but its a twin from factory with just down pipe tune on 93 it makes 500 wheel. Hence why I said if If I had a single and was only making 500 I would be mad. All that work to make basic setup numbers do you understand?
