BMW Isetta restoration Ep 6 Preparing chassie for sandblasting

In this series I will document the process of restoring a BMW Isetta 1957 to top condition. I will be as detailed as possible to show what challenges that may appear through the restoration, and tips and tricks along the way to solve typical mechanical problems.

I restored my Isetta (bubble window, 1955) in 1983. It was such a pleasure, though it took me one whole year. So nice that you have filmed the process, it may be useful for others going the same path... Greetings from Serbia!

That's very cool to hear! the car is now a rolling frame, engine and body are next in line but I have not yet gotten around to edit and post the videos. The next episodes will arrive sometime this summer :)
