Someone curb rashed a wheel on one of my BMW rentals. Did not want to spend nearly $200 to resurface and repair the wheel at a shop just for someone else to curb it again. This video helped out big time! Thank you so much. You made this an easier process than expected.

Took your advice and tried it. Works pretty good. The masking is the crucial part. I still have a slight paint line between original and new surface. I’m guessing a little compound polish and hopefully good to go. Thx

Glad to hear you're getting there! Compound polish will definitely help with the paint line. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Hey Ed. Nice vid like always. Thinking of getting a mhd back end flash for the jb4 soon. Also I think I have to install my cat back on for inspection:( it’s going to suck.
@edcardiy2 жыл бұрын
The MHD will not conflict with the JB4? , Why do you have to go for inspection? Is this a annual requirement on your state? Anyway hope you passed inspection , Good luck Bro. Thanks for watching!!!👍
@garett28922 жыл бұрын
@@edcardiy yeah it’s a yearly thing. I just know it’s going to suck to install that cat again. And the mhd back end flash for the jb4 remaps everything like afr throttle response exc while the jb4 is still used as a boost controller and safety net.

@@edcardiy there are specific maps made by burger Motorsports for mhd that work hand in hand with the jb4

@@garett2892 nice, let me know how's the performance after. Do you draggy your car after mod?
@garett28922 жыл бұрын
@@edcardiy No I don’t drag my car. I was thinking about starting to. It’s just supposed to be a smoother experience.

Did you use 80 grit or 120?
@edcardiy2 ай бұрын
I use the 80 on the very rough surface, and 120 on finishing or medium rough damaged, Thanks for watching!!!👍

Isn't it better to use primer?
@edcardiy2 ай бұрын
Yes it's better with primer, but for small job like this, straight up wheel paint is good enough. Thanks for watching!!!👍

Should we remove the wheels from the car?
@edcardiy3 ай бұрын
It's easier to do the repair when the wheels are removed from the car, Just my opinion. Thanks for watching!!!👍
