As a X5 F15 driver for ten years and the F31 series I can hardly get used to the front. Traditions are missing and as I have recently noticed and observed, the 5 series touring has problems taking corners because of the size, as well as they are becoming too big. The 5 series, so the current one, is as big as the previous 7. Why?

I'm really worried for the next 3-series generation. The base 3-series and the M340I look amazing. I hope they don't completely ruin ALL of their cars by the 2030's.

in 2030, everything will look like a fridge, not only cars... but my prediction is that in the 2040s, we will look into vintage and more colorful designs. Thats pretty much the cycle of design, modern vintage, vintage modern.

There is something about this M5's face that i dont like, despite it not having a black hole sized grille. Maybe it's the DRLs or just the general headlight shape. Anyway, facelift F90 M5 was peak modern BMW to me.

I am a bit sad that you didn't praised the line flowing from the front air-intake into the top of the wheel arch, which gives the front end of the M5 a muscular exotic super car look.

BMW kills the design by using stock rear doors that are more flat than the rear fendors. Mercedes and Audi look nicer.

Mercedes is far from nice looking. EQ is a failure. The new AMG GT is ugly, the SL looks like a blob(same for the GLE coupe), CLE looks weird and their interior fall off has to be studied. Audi has potential but they love black interiors too much. Hardly can see shit so there’s no point to compliment the interior. Their owners just pretend it’s nice because it’s leather interior. Performance wise they’re good but work behind. Exterior is too tame even for the R8 when it was selling and now their facelift 2025 cars look weird and their fans are complaining about how the steering wheel looks. 😂

I would go M3 if available in the US. Would be more like 90k not 110k. But I guess I'll have to get the M5, still should be a great car

Something about the M3 wagons rear proportions look too SUV like to me. The M5 manages to look more like a wagon, maybe its the longer wheelbase?

Easy. The M3 is almost 600kg lighter, that makes a lot when cornering.

@@ii_dynasty and in F1 every kilo you save shows directly in laptime. If you ever driven a heavy vs a lightweight car around a curvy track I would be surprised if you preferred the heavy one.

looking at the M4 GT3, the beaver-tooth grille was overshadowed by the right graphics, but on the road I prefer a clean and aggressive look in the right way. I'm curious to see which of the two marries better by changing the grilles and bumpers respectively. Honestly I'm for the 3 Series but if I change the front bumper and grille, then the """affordable""" price and finally, the 5 Series is a car that is usually associated with white-collar workers, executives and bosses, especially if they are sedans, because they don't care about their families as much as they do about other people's families. This applies not only to the Bavarian, but also to the other two Germans... after this little outburst, I wish you a good day

You buy the size and the power that you can afford and need. Unfortunately, BMW's M3 Touring didn't pass the stringent rear boot U.S. crash tests. Hopefully, BMW's M Engineers get it right next time around!

The new 5 series proportionally looks terrible.So much real estate around front wings caused by large battery packs placement for the electric variant.It looks heavy and bloated.

All his funny opinions and comments about the M3 and M5 Touring designs is totally irrelevant! Both cars look amazing in reality! Pictures alone just don't tell the whole truth about the design of modern BMWs, because there's simply too much going on. These BMW designs are much more complex but amazing looking in reality, than this superficially blah blah blah trashtalker in his videos would ever realizes just because of "pictures"!
