@@allkindofstupidstuff instead of running a new cable to a throttle pedal he is using the existing drive by wire throttle body as an actuator.

Using the old throttle to pull the cable is a really smart idea. It allows you to continue using the drive by wire feature so that the ECU can be happy.

I’ve always thought about trying to do this to mine, but looked everywhere and no one makes a kit to do it. Which is strange because I feel like a lot of people would do this to their car if they could. Awesome job though!

Does the throttle actuator plug into the stock m54b30 harness? As far as a head adapter is this available or did you have to machine one? Awesome setup considering It for my 330i when I built the turbo setup.

Yes, it plugs into stock harness. We had to machine custom adapter. Yes, this is cool setup for 330, but turbo is better! ;)

You have to realize that this is also converted to throttle cable. Rather than drive by wire.

are the gates of the s50 and s54 the same? I have seen an adapter on eBay for m50 / m52 to s50, m52 to s54 can not be found. which injectors are used in this setup?

No, they are different. Also, M50 and M54 not the same. You need S54-M54 adapter. S54 injectors are used.

And from whom do you want to see the documentation, from BMW? I don't think it exists) 2. Also, how did you control them? I use a standard Siemens MS43 ECU with custom calibrations, based on logs and measurements on dyno of my car.

I assume but I want to know as well... If I get an E36 when I get back into the states I will be attempting an ITB setup. If I see a 6 speed 330i you better BELIEVE I will be doing this. Have a guy who made some media blasting adapters for my mini on his 3d printer... I have a feeling he could make some for the manifold. It would be essentially the same thing. Different material requirements and the injector placement is really important.

Its not just an adapter plate from research ive done. You need to adapt the d shaped port if the m54 to the oval of the itb so you also need custom runners

The engine alone goes for 2.5k the RHD ones are like 1.2k or you can buy the ones from the s54 for around 300$ and make and adapt it, gains are minimal but fuck is it cool
