I love how he gives respect to the good parts of the genre before absolutely tearing the bad parts a new one. I absolutely love country and there are still fantastic country songs that come out today, their just rarely mainstream sadly. My general yard stick for good country is, if it makes you wanna cry a little bit it’s good, if it tells an interesting story it’s good, if it does both at the same time it’s fantastic.
