Just recently found you guys. I heard in your video that your husband works long hours Monday - Friday. Obviously y’all are also building a homestead. I can relate as we are in a similar scenario. We are remodeling our homestead house, starting our homestead and am in year one of a construction business start up. Things are going well and making progress but one thing we are not happy with is all the stress we feel at the end of each day, we always feel as if we have so far to go and are not making enough progress, often times the temptation is to just acquire debt to speed up the process. Idk if y’all have considered but a video or even just a short or two explaining how y’all have learned to balance hard work, family and homesteading would be awesome!

Hello! Thank you so much for reaching out to us. We are thrilled you found our channel. Yes, balancing full time work which includes travel (Chuck), building a homestead (and a home to live in), raising animals, raising kids, building a KZbin channel and finding time to relax is VERY challenging. I (Brooke) often get overwhelmed and fearful that we will never be "done". To overcome those feelings, each morning I plan to accomplish one task outside of the daily chores and try to check it off the list. I also remind myself that this is a life journey, not to ever be really "done". I try to find the gratitude in each moment (even when it entails scooping poop 🤪) and look back on what we have accomplished over the last three years. I trust God will provide and give us the resources and physical energy to make it through each day. This is NOT easy work, but it is the most rewarding work I have ever done in my life! I wish you the best and hope you keep your head up and trust the end result of each day will be worth it!
