Cool! I spent Halloween on the Kiss Kruise aboard the Norwegian Pearl. We were actually in Grand Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas during the day on Halloween, and Halloween night, Kiss performed an acoustic concert on the Lido deck!

If you ever return to Galveston to cruise, I’d recommend NOT using Discount Cruise Parking (DCP). I have used them several cruises and now won’t even go there. I live close to Galveston so I used them because they were close to I45 and less expensive. Well...we were on the Vista March 7-14, the last cruise because of the virus. Got off ship and ALL other parking shuttles were there but DCP left us there without a ride back to our car. DCP put up a sign saying “DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS DISCOUNT CRUISE PARKING has Suspended It’s Free/courtesy Shuttle Service. Please proceed to parking lot via individual taxi. At our own cost!

We stayed at Gaido’s Seaside inn $80 ( off season) free parking for the cruise and free ride to the port. We had to take a taxi back it was $9.00. Super great has free breakfast and a restaurant on site.

Was on the Vista for a back to back in May they were having gang plank issues and even a faster to the fun didnt get you on any earlier then 4:30pm . Still had an awesome time love the Vista!!!

Just recently returned from a 12 day cruise from New York to Quebec on the Caribbean Princess. Since I have cruised many times, and understand the debarkation process, my wife and I decided to get off the ship the night prior to avoid the getting up super early and waiting process. We checked out at the main desk and the the crew helped carry our bags to the main terminal. Easily picked up an Uber. We avoided the chaos and crowds. Checked into the Hilton and slept in on the following morning. I think I will always do that in the future when possible. The cruise was nice but a bit of a let down from what I expected. I now understand that any cruise over 7 days will predominately be older guests as they have the time and money to take more expensive vacations. My wife and I appeared to be the youngest passengers on our cruise. I am not putting down seniors in any way, but everyone on board seemed to have a cane, walker, or wheel chair. I'm 58 and the wife is 32. Our ship looked like a ghost town by 9pm. Won't be doing anymore longer cruises to colder locations. I thought food choices in the later evening were poor. Many other things didn't meet my expectations on the ship. Overall, good experience, had a nice time, but could have been better.
