Asyms are very interesting...but i gotta wonder why no pros ride them (at least not in contests).

contest riding is judged by a panel of people who want to see a specific kind of surfing deemed respected by the competitive community. To take a risk at a high level contest, with sponsors breathing down your neck, and going on on a non-traditional board is very risky for pros. They want to look like a classic surfer to appeal to a general audience. Maybe someday we will see asymetricals, but i dont know how soon. Gonna have to really prove they work the best first
