Tall Bob may be interested to investigate the drug Etanercept! It is injected into the spine (perispinal etanercept) and the patient is tipped backwards to encourage the drug to enter the brain. It is being used for stroke patients and there are trials of the drug for the purpose of helping stroke patients and there has been some miraculous results. The drug is also a possible treatment in people with Long Covid. I wonder if it would Bobs ataxia. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5-opYRjjN2el9U

Hey I don't see any replies to anyone's questions, but I'll ask anyway. I am 43 and was hit by a car as a little kid which I believe that it did irreparable damage. I live with constant back pain and my lower back/pelvis feel locked up. I am starting to see limited mobility and struggle even putting on socks. Any advice on what I can do to help?

I'm so glad you two are still filming! Showing that aphasia doesn't mean you withdraw from society is a powerful message and Bob, you will literally change some people's lives or maybe even save them. I'm not exaggerating. Your mind is full of knowledge to share and we're here for it!

I agree. It's sad they have to put that message at the beginning. I had a brain tumor removed and had aphasia. They basically removed me from a lot of my duties (I was in training for the management position) even though my brain was working just fine. I just couldn't get words out unless I wrote them and it was temporary as I healed. I would get in trouble for emailing and cc'ing people instead of talking directly to them. Unfortunately I live in an at will state so it's not illegal.

Hi i'm a one time athlete and now blue collar physical worker. Complexities have stripped me a chance at Healthcare. There are many like me. What you are doing is a blessing beyond words. You and other channels like yours have brought me to tears through relieving stretches that I could not afford to get directed at me traditionally. Thank you again, though there is no way you can ever truly understand how much suffering in even just my little life you have alleviated. Health is wealth. All Gods Blessings to you and yours.

Amazing i wasn’t even looking for anything like this and heard my symptoms in right buttocks/thigh area for last two years described to me. Sometimes it’s bad enough after walking 100 feet that i has to pop it. But the pop itself momentarily hurt worse. So now i know other exercises to do instead of going wrong way. Thank You Father and thank you guys

Bob I hope you see this. I have spastic CP (wheelchair, AFOs, loftstrands, the whole bit). Your videos have helped me so much, because not a day goes by where I'm not trying to stretch, strengthen, get something to release, etc. It never ends. One thing I know after my 40+ years on this planet as a disabled person is that all branches of medicine are pretty darn ableist, and medicine-- especially the rehab disciplines benefit so much from the presence of disabled providers. The best SLP and the best OT I know both have CP as well. They understand disability and rehab with an entirely different depth. We need you and your expertise here. I think your dx is new. It's a gutpunch-- I'm no Pollyanna. But I hope you keep doing videos and sharing your wisdom and expertise with us and with your patients. We need you in the rehab space so badly.

I was recently diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. My Rheumatologist questioned as to whether or not I suffered from hip or SI pain. I was thrilled! Absolutely, I replied, I have episodes of not being able to extend to an upright position when exiting my vehicle. It's as though my Pelvis and lower back are "locked" I call it a "catch". Once I rotate my hip a few times I hear a loud "click" & I'm able to move freely. In a standing position, if I march in place, the click can be heard each time my left knee is raised. Yall's videos are giving me the confidence to explore different methods of relieving the pain and hopefully end this horrible clicking. Thanks for sharing!

Amazing to see a nervous system at play. Bob is clearly incredibly intelligent and the neural activity is palpably there in presence while the relay system has its delays. It’s so amazing to see the lived experience. Thanks for your dedication to the art of physiology.

I am so grateful for the knowledge you two share. When my sciatica flared up 6 months ago, it was agony. Following your techniques, I improved so much sooner than the two times before. I don't know if this will be an ongoing issue in my life, but you guys seriously helped me a lot. Bob - life throws us curve balls. All of us. In one form or another. Keep your attitude positive, and know that we all care for you. Brad - I guess you're ok. (I'm joking, obviously, before I get slammed by readers!)

OMG! I couldn’t sleep because of my right hip pain and I started looking over KZbin. I’ve been to doctors almost two years due the pain I did a lot of psychical therapy and the pain never went away. I just did the exercise with the bench and it’s like magic! It’s gone! I can not believe it… I want to cry! Thank you guys so much!

Great info! I injured my sacroiliac lifting a motorcycle over a year ago. After physical therapy and visits to a chiropractor, it got back in shape and it seemed taking daily walks was the biggest help. Definitely looking to try a coupes of these for maintenance. Thanks guys and keep on keeping on, Bob!

You two are my go -to both for self diagnosis and self-treatment. today not sure my issue is my SI joint, but sure sounds like it from the description of where the pain manifests. Your first test (on an another session) does tend to point that way. But I just can't pop it or move it or make walking comfortable. I will try again tomorrow (I know, if it hurts don't do it). Thanks
