Hey Group, Hopefully this adventure is well received, we’ll see how everyone feels soon enough. This was a long day, tried some new filming techniques out and learned more do’s and don’ts. All in all, the day was a success and I hope that everyone enjoys this. Feel free to play this video several times to get the average view duration up (it gets this video suggested more). Comment, like and share if you can. From the Hansler Family, thank you to all of those supporting this channel and making productions Ike this possible. Take care and as always... Until Next Time, Bob Hansler

Bob Hansler I sincerely appreciate the effort that you put into teaching so many important techniques, every time I see a video uploaded I watch immediately because of the enjoyment of pure knowledge that is being taught. Your an inspiration to so many people including myself and while you are teaching about the wilderness and survival you are also teaching how to keep doing what you love no matter what life obstacles stand in front of you. I’m aware of the struggle you’ve had to deal with off camera, I hope your vision is getting better day by day and wish that you continue to heal. Once again thank you for being an inspiration and brightening everyone’s day by doing what you love.

Bob, I will be lifting you up in prayer. My sister-in-law had a rare blood type and got on the kidney transplant list with the possibility of a 5 year wait. Within 6 months she got the call. Her transplant was about 7 years ago and she is well and enjoying life on the horse ranch near Ft. Worth. She is 66 years old. You have youth on your side. I'm believing in your recovery and a transplant soon. God bless you and your family.

Hey Mr. Bob Hansler, A while back I came across a video of yours that told about how Yucca was edible. I have lived in Texas all my life and I never knew you could eat Yucca. First video I watched I learned something useful. Every video of yours I watch I discover a real world lesson and I want you to know I appreciate it. I know you had some medical problems. My wife and I said some prayers for you. Not sure why the good Lord might listen to me but I hope you are well and getting better. I am 60 years old and a Texas native and your sincere, down to earth and often surprising information is very much appreciated. Thank you and God Bless.

Dear Bob, Hill Country Texas old widow woman/retired Sped teacher here living on 3 acres on a red dirt road. Retired and moved here 10 yrs ago not knowing diddlysquat. Been working on diddly ever since. Started thinking I would never make it to squat until I found your channel by chance a week ago. Was looking up how to cook yucca flowers. Found you..Bingo! They were tasty. Then something about your demeanor drew me in. Have binge-watched with my dogs ever since. This particular video is superb. I was 17 the very first time I visited the Davis Mtns.I remember thinking and feeling that it was a magical place. That was 52 years ago. This video rekindled my passion for those mountains. Glad to know that stellar fellers like you are carrying on the traditions of Texas and sharing with all of us. You and yours are in my prayers. With warm regards to you and your lovely wife, Shauna Holly Belle Gilmore

.........This is a really professionally made production..... Shawna got some great camera angles....and quite a few of them.....Your choices of background music was perfect for the occasion/setting. Kinda reminded me of The Magnificent Seven there at the end. That canyon is made for very sure footed people and mountain goats. It's small wonder you wound up in the creek...made me cold just watching. I could tell Huck was worried about you after your swim, he is an exceptional dog. Your drone footage is exceptional as well.....really adds a huge perspective to the country......Very good video and very well made.....Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the whole family.....Be safe......

If you have the time, go back into his older videos and watch them before bed or something. @diogobras51355 жыл бұрын
From the videos I've seen I've rarely seen Huck accepting any food.. I think he only accepts when he can clearly make out the smell. The smoke around probably doesn't let him understand what it is that he's about to have, so his instinct is to not have it. You can see that he's not happy about not accepting the food. Every time I've seen Huck reject food was close to a campfire. Do the experiment perhaps on a next video Bob. Good stuff man.. I hope I remember any of this in case there's ever an apocalyptic event.

mr. hansler you'll never know how much pleasure i get from watching you do your thing. so glad you are back at it. got steered to you thru the wooded beardsman recently, and found out about your health issues. you are an eagle scout - that says a lot. - you are a teacher, thar says more. i have binged on your videos since. you have a lovely wife and i suspect she did some camera work here. you are a truly gifted teacher. in my neck of the woods timber rattlers are nearly gone, as are frogs turtles and bats.50 years ago they were all in abundance. during the depression my grandfather made money snaring rattlers with a cane pole and wire snare from the den in the bluff above his house. sold to the university of iowa. i think it was to make antivenom but i don't know if that is true. anyhow it is wonderful to watch your very well done videos. the best out there actually. you are still young and i wish you the very best life has to offer. you have most certainly enriched mine!

You know, I fly back and forth between my hometown of Los Angeles, and New York City, and I'm always amazed at the beautiful land across our beautiful nation. Sadly, I'll never get to see all of our country in my lifetime, as she is vast. Up to 5 and a half to six hours sometimes, of pure flight. However, your videos allow me to appreciate the beautiful land that still exists here in our beautiful nation USA. Keep up the videos. Sometimes the Amazon blood in me wants to swim in a river, spear a fish, and watch the stars unfettered by city light. Like how my mother used to back in her younger years in Equitos, Peru. Living off the rain forest and Amazon river. Be safe, and a Merry Christmas to you and your family ❤😊
