Hi, yes its easy, just granny squares with 2 rounds of half double crochet around the outside, join the 4 squares together, then works rows of hdc around the 4 square block, join the blocks together and crochet around for the edge/border :)

Hi there, I teach the American way and it is very easy to learn the stitches as its just the name that is different :) If you learn both ways then your crochet pattern world will open to a whole new dimension I only use the AUS treble and AUS half treble for this whole project Happy crochet

Hi !! **waves** you can change the size or shape by making more sections of the 4 grannies joined together, if you join them with extra sections you can make it rectangle instead of square

Would you believe out of all the videos I've watched this is the first one that I've seen with a tutorial on how to sew in the ends? I've been crocheting for three years now and have never been taught how to do that, LOL! I just kind of figured it out on my own.

I am making mine using four different shades of Green with Aran as my Main Color. The squares are 10 inches - by - 10 inches in size because I did a total of 12 rounds for each one & used a size J-10 (6.00mm) crochet hook.

I know this is 5 years ago, but I wanted to say that I have adopted a ch 2 corner because the ch 3 corners make too big of a hole, which toes pop through when using the blanket while you 😴 sleep, air comes through these gaps as well, making the blanket inefficient as something to keep you warm. I also don't ch 1 in between ch3 shells on the straight edges of the granny square.. for the same reason. glad I'm not the only one that switches it up.

I have a question ? How many square should I make to make this for 6feet 2 inch tall person 🤔
@CrochetwithClare
@CrochetwithClare 4 жыл бұрын
G'day ladykadiva1970 thank you for your comment, to tell you the truth I am not sure how many to make, we all have different tension and cold use different yarn. I would suggest making one of the blocks with the 4 squares, joined with the edging and then you can calculate from that how large you need it to be.
