Thank you sooo much for this amazing video. I started crocheting about a week ago and with your awesome videos, I was able to make this! :) I collect everything that has to do with owls lol so I was trying to find an owl beanie and this one was the very best looking one! I posted it to your FB, I made my into an adult size and for a woman (me lol.) Again, I really appreciate it, my friend!

I absolutely love your videos!! Your voice is soothing enough to listen to for 30+ mins as opposed to many people that do crochet tutorials that have voices that are down right annoying or they play the same 12 sec clip of irritating music. I don't know why but your accent is awesome. I'm from Pennsylvania, US and its so different from the way we talk. I love it! I follow all of your tutorials! You have amazing work!!

I've stayed up all night making this project for my son!! It isn't that great, certainly the rope stitch gave me some troubles, but it does resemble an owl, so I must not have done TOOOOOO badly hahaha!!! Thank you for the AMAZING tutorial!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!

@mickeylyn21 it could just be down to the tension at which you are crocheting them. If it's too tight they can curl. try using a slightly bigger hook (like .5mm bigger) or just loosening your tension a little. The tension is governed by how you hold your yarn, too much and items will come out too small, stitches too tight and items curl. too loose and it all looks open and loosey-goosey. It can take a while to get your tension right, years in some cases. Hope this helps

you can use a Magic ring or less chains ... it is the fist chain , the starting loop doesnt count as a stich :)
@CrochetwithClare13 жыл бұрын
@MikaelaLoveRussell Hi, are you talking about that little loops that you go into ? It is really small, sometimes hard to see, Just go into the stitch if you cant see it. I just found that by going into this little stitch it made a nicer seam . thanks for watching

bob...how are you? I was having a problem understanding the instructions from a pattern to create the ear flaps. Your instruction is clear and concise. I won't be using the pattern anymore. Also, the single crochet step appears to be my answer to the question, how do you create a straight seam when crocheting a hat? Thank you soooo much for this tutorial.

Discovered your channel today. Made a red and black dinosaur beanie, a purple and verigated purple dinosaur, and just finished a lavender owl. I tried to post on your email and they got sent back and Facebook wouldn't let me post them either. They will be donated to Children's Hospital. I was happy to find some new easy to follw and go together pretty fast patterns. I will definitely be using them again. Dianne

Okay doing the eyes, question, Are you many times are you chaining, 5? , the hole in the middle of yours is sooo small, and mine is huge. I have my starting loop, then when I start chaining is that the first chain or second ? (if that makes any sense, sorry lol)
