So cute... so easy! ♥️ I made these when I was a child but had forgotten how. I wasn't doing SCx3 in EVERY stitch so it's no wonder I failed trying to do this from memory. LOL! This looks much more festive than a pom-pom as a hat topper!😃 Thanks for this easy tutorial! 👍😊

I have wanted to know how to make these forever. I can't believe how easy they were. I modified them a little.bit so that I could use them as hair ties on a panda hat. They look adorable. My niece has already asked if I would make a bunch of colors for her twin girls. Thanks again for posting this easy peasy video.

Bob Wilson, I have a question, how would I use the curly cues on a afghan of muilti colors on the sides? lt. green, lt. blue, lt. pink, soft white, & lemon yellow I think it would be cute instead of using fringe, What do you think?
@CrochetwithClare8 жыл бұрын
that would be a cute blanket. you would have to make them all separately and join them to the blanket with a whip stitch or mattress stitch. i suggest adding one curly cue per row on each side.

This is so adorable!!! Since you said to sew the curly q's in (and not pin them), is this washable? Do you have to prepare the curly q's in some way before tossing in machine?
@CrochetwithClare6 жыл бұрын
Hello Diane, yes you can wash these, after washing you may have to curl them again, just by hand. If you hand wash them it will probably keep them in place more. Let me know how you go because i have not washed mine, I gave it away to a charity :)

So far I have watched the part of adding another color and you have it so jumbled up I can't see what your doing?
@CrochetwithClare5 жыл бұрын
what part of it are you confused about. i am not sure where you are stuck. once you have finished your first curly cue you want to slip stitch into the magic ring. insert your hook into the ring and before pulling it out, lay your new color over your hook and pull through the ring and the loop on your hook.
