love this hat. crocheting along with you really simplified what I thought would be a quite difficult. Don't care for the curls so left them out but have already made 5 of these for a local charity. They are so cushiony and warm. really liked that you were trying out the pattern for the first time like the rest of us. They turn out so cushiony you can't stop squishing them. Thanks again for sharing.

Thank you so much for this tutorial, my new granddaughter is just 2 and a half weeks old, we're into spring here (U.K,) but I'm sure by winter, she'll be just about the right age for/size, one of these hats, so I'm definitely going to have a go, you have given such good, easy to follow instructions, so thank you once again.
@shellymakris45249 жыл бұрын
In order to save time on your treble stitches, you can yarn over just once like for a double crochet... but instead of pulling through 2, just pull through 1, then 2, then 2 and it works the same! I learned this trick from watching another video, and was so excited. :) Hope it works for you

Hi I have been watching your videos and I love how easy you make it to follow you. My question is a little off topic, I notice you wear acrylic nails and I was wondering how do you keep your natural nails so healthy? They look so good in this video. I always have trouble with weakness and brittleness with acrylic nails.
@CrochetwithClare10 жыл бұрын
Hello :) I have not had acrylic nails for a few years now, but when I got them removed they were super weak, but when the natural nail grew out it was stronger than they had ever been before i got the fake ones.... I do nothing special, hand cream, just a mid priced one, I use what ever takes my fancy when i need a new one LOL I try to keep them mid length, I also do alot of office work with this job so i am not out in the yard where I can break a nail easy :)

@ChristieOo11 жыл бұрын
Hi there, this is Christie from bobwilson123 helpdesk. Yes there is no reason why you couldn't use this same stitch and make a bag from it. You could even use the beanie pattern and just turn it upside down and add a draw string for a small bag.

Hello Clare and Kinga, Thank you so much for the lovely pattern. I am wanting to make this pattern this coming week. I just wanted to know, how much yarn of each color have you used? I'm making this hat right now. The only question I have is when making the hat for a larger head will the ear flaps still be 16 stitches apart? I did a 7" crown to fit a teenager with a 22' head using your formula. Please let me know as soon as you get a chance! Thanks again for adding the video to go along with the pattern! I will post a picture of my hat when I'm finished since I used 4 colors!

Hi Bob Wilson, Katie here, What is a mattress stitch and how is it done? Is there a video or a pattern for this stitch Katie.....
@CrochetwithClare8 жыл бұрын
hi, the mattress stitch is a type of joining that you use to sew two pieces together. I do not have a video for that at this time but you can just type in mattress stitch joining into youtube and you will find plenty of how to videos
