Hi Clare! First of all, I would like to thank you for teaching me how to crochet to my heart's desire through your videos! Secondly, I really love your Curtis Visor design! What I wanted to know is if I could sell these visors on my etsy shop? If not, that is totally okay and understandable, I just don't want to get into any trouble. Thank you so much!
@soniamalloni289810 жыл бұрын
I really like the Curtis Visor but wonder when you are making the headband, are you working in back loops for ribbing or both loops? Also, you may want to consider doing the stitches in slow motion for beginners to see how you are making the hdc and other stitches you use in this pattern. I know how easy it is to just zip through it when you have been crocheting for years.

I want my visor to look just like yours. However, you did a row or two more without showing it. But I think I got messed up thinking I'm doing it right like how you did it with the big gap and having to put two half double crochets and than a slip stitch. I just wish you finished it straight through. Thank you though. Your work is AWESOME

@CrochetwithClare4 жыл бұрын
Hello, make your rows until you have it 2-3 inches shorted than needed - you will need the head measurement of the 13 year old. According to my measurements on site it is 20.5 - 22 inches for a teenager bobwilson123.org/head-sizes.html

@CrochetwithClare6 жыл бұрын
it could be a couple things. there could be too many stitches or you are crocheting too tight. also if you can not manipulate to make it sit curved maybe try less stitches or less increases.

+Catherine Whittaker Hello, do you have really tight tension ? are you making sure you are slip stitches at the ends ?
@nothinglikethesunfnv59518 жыл бұрын
Same here, C.W. - My visor also turned out flat in appearance!... The pattern instructs to hdc at the side of the 1st row at the ends; hdc into the next stitch; and sl st into the next, before turning & the ch1...However, in this video [B.W.123] does it differently - she does the hdc on the side of the 1st row at the ends and sl st...With 'No' hdc st in between...I believe this makes for a wider brim!...Next time, I'll try this project without that middle hdc, at the end and see if it makes a difference...
