This pattern uses US terminology
This tunic pattern is rate intermediate and requires some basic pattern reading skills. This tunic pattern is available from size small to 3XL
The following materials are used:
worsted/10ply yarn (Red Heart Boutique Midnight was used in the original pattern) and a J/6mm crochet hook
tape measure
The following stitches are used:
foundation single crochet, slip stitch, single crochet, chain, beginning half shell, beginning shell, first stitch, remaining stitches, half shell, increase shell, single crochet 2 together, shell, treble crochet 2 together, treble crochet

Thank you for this tutorial. You explain and demonstrate why something is done a certain way, or why you choose to change it. I value your tips, like using the fsc as our gauge. That's a time saver. Sharing the fact that you mark ch-1 spaces on inc shells so you don't miss them prompted me to mark each ch-1 right after completing a inc-shell. This saved time when I had to count the regular shells between increases. I just finished row 6 with you and am eager to get to the sleeves.

Just a comment that may not mean much but being low vision / blind I depend on youtube so I may crochet independently because patterns seem to want to use pdfs which are unreadable by ny software.

Rose Wilks Hello, the rainbow on is made to fit a small adult, I used worsted weight/10ply yarn but if you use thinner yarn and a smaller hook, you will get a smaller size - I am not sure what size it twill be

khadija firoz Hello, no i have not written this pattern, you will follow along with the written pattern, following the sizes for the size you need, I would circle all the numbers you need to follow before starting and that way when you come to it you will see how many repeats or stitches you need to do

hi, i would suggest using another yarn with it to equal up to a dk weight and red heart unforgettable is closer to a heavy dk than a worsted. i also recommend using another yarn along with it as the eyelash yarn will be very difficult to see the stitches after they are made.

Hello, yes if you continue it will be longer, if you use a bigger hook your stitches will be bigger and create a sort or flare look and that will be great for fitting things like a bottom/bum :)

+t M. Yes you are correct, all sizes follow the same instructions until you get to under the arms Use your written pattern to determined what size you need and follow the written pattern for stitch counts, this video shows you how to do it, but your stitch count may be different

Hello, Yes you can use the DK, I generally go a size bigger than needed for DK because the yarn is thinner :)

As a plus size woman, I find this very insulting. It is difficult to find plus size crocheted items. I was very excited at the prospect of a tutorial for a plus size top. I think it is insulting to list this as a tutorial for plus sizes and show how to make a SMALL. I am disappointed. Dangling a carrot out to us is disgusting. You can say it won't be confusing, but since you have already done a small size, why do that same size for an audience of larger women. Is this a mistake? You said that there is an extra tutorial for 1x, 2x, 3x because there are some extra things that need to be done, but this is being done as a size small. You have had a year to correct this--if an honest mistake. If you don't have a tutorial for 1x, 2x, 3x, you should take this down instead of misleading your audience.

+ron p Hello, I am sorry that you feel this way, The instructions for all the sizes are the same, if you follow along with the pattern you just need to change the amount of shells that you do. This is why I have not done the extra tutorial. If makes no sense to make another video if all you are doing is following along with the same thing just doing the amount of shells YOU need to do The underarm for this video is different to the other one and I have made this as part of this video and not the small one

I understand you're saying that this Small size tutorial is supposed to be a guide to go alongside the written pattern for larger sizes, but why would you post a separate video and label it as being the tutorial specifically for the larger sizes when it's really not? Very misleading. Makes me wonder if you're just looking for the clicks. I haven't gone to the written pattern yet, but reading these comments leads me to decide not to and just move on to a different channel for a different project, as I'm reading consistent remarks that it is confusing and doesn't make sense. If the video tutorial were to actually clear that up, it would be worth my time, but if you're not willing to clarify visually how to modify for larger sizes, I'm not going to waste my time to get that far and not being able to move forward. Very disappointed. I don't understand why you specifically say you're going to provide a separate video for other sizes when you don't. If it wasn't worth your time, it's not worth mine. Unsubscribed and moving on.

Christian Warrior Academy hello. In the video tutorial yes it does show the small as a guide but when you get to the different I instructions for the larger sizes it shows you how to do those . I cannot remember off the top of my head but I believe that the increasing under the arms is different for the larger sizes and that is showing this video
