Mindfulness belongs to everyone and noone. Kabat-Zinn doesn't own this concept and technique, and Meleo-Meyer uses her lovely voice to deliver this universal message skillfully. Perhaps try listening to it again.

Thank you so much for this video, it comes in very handy when I have a panic attack late at night Although it may not stop the overwhelming feeling but it does help me sleep even with my heart thundering in my chest.

meditation works for whatever you want it to. Thats the joy of the mind, it does what is needed. In reality terms i suggust buying sunflower seeds msot of the addiction is the habit with the hands, eat sunflower seeds salted or not whenver you want a smoke. A lot of my friends have quit this way.

Thanks this was really helpful. I am going to take the time to do this before I start doing an assignment, in the hope I will be more focused and less stressed. Unfortunately my body wanted me to have allergies and sneeze a lot, maybe I sneezed out the negativity, why not.....

When it ended, I thought it was still part of the meditation, the silence, and I was wearing headphones so I could hear sounds my own body made and kind of a cicada-like drone, very high-pitched, then something very like a little bird call in the distance. There's a lot in the inside! And outside's so far away, as Jethro Tull would say.

At 30.53, the watersound in the background goes totally silent, and then begins again. It felt like a vacuum and interrupted the process. It became obvious that its a sound loop and removed the calming illusion of being by the creek. Good acknowledgement for me, where do i place my trust. But it would be better without it. Thanks for an otherwise great meditation.

upon focusing on my right hand i felt tiny streams flowing into my awareness, i held this bewildering sensation for about 10 seconds and energy started to enter my left foot i sensed a foot cramp coming on and got so excited that i might actually create pain from mind alone! my question concerns why my left foot was chosen could this be Hod energy being filtered out of my Hesod container? yes no maybe so? Amazing tradition, carry on with the guides. Love and Peace to all :)

Is this practice also suited for beginners? I can only focus on the object of med for about 15 -20 minutes before it gets uncomfortable or my thoughts start to take over. Should I keep focusing on working my way up to one hour or are guided mediations easier to follow.

Never occurred to me but it DOES sound a bit like that part in T2 when John rings his parents and Arnie tells him to ask about their dog! Good observation!
