You're forgetting that this is a response to a response. The other guy was responding to Martin claiming that what actually matters in a fight is functional strength. I also assume that he was referring to experienced fighters since, that's what he and his brother always do. So essentially, the guy in the blue shirt responded to Martin with a non-sequitur, and Martin pointed that out in a weird that made it look like he was responding with a non-sequitur.

What i meant was a student beating other students,in my class you werent allowed to ever spar with the teacher in ANY way,cause if you do it means you are challenging him to become a teacher yourself.
