Brother you are so real. You inspired me, as a sister. Not just starting to work on losing 50 lbs. Just getting on the treadmill. I can do that now and lose cuz am not eating junk anymore, done even want it. I ask God to change my mind. And He did. Just eating real food. I being careful but am not really into counting calories. But now feeling postive about working on my talent and stop putting stuff off. You really has sparked me even more. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. There Was this saying by Frederick Douglass. The Godfather of the Civil Rights Movement. Back in the 1800s he said; "I prayed for 20 years to be free, but God never answered my prayers, until I prayed with my feet." We have to take the first step then God works with and in us. Hearing your testimony just reminded me of all the things that I can do that I'm putting off. God bless you brother and stay strong. I'm curious what happened with your bodybuilding competition? I know you slayed it, so glad you made it through. I just wondering when you were going to put a post out. But I understand stand you need a break and time with your family, God bless.

This is exactly what I've been going through. I started off with just wanting to lose weight. Now I decided as of a week or two ago that I wanted to shoot to do a competition. I just started working with a trainer just to get an idea of what the prep will be like.. holy crap it is completely different than losing weight. It's crazy. I have my mind set. To go from the girl that use to be overweight and obese to wearing a bikini when I never wore one before. That is so much accomplishment in that for me. You find an inner strength that you didn't know you even had. Work hard, train hard, and show that it isn't impossible. Just have to keep pushing and motivate others!

i agree the hardest part of losing weight is just getting started. My motivation came from breaking my foot then getting a hernia witch left me immobile and unable to much then i watched my mom lose 50 ibs and as soon as i was able i sarted working out and slowly sarted to eat better i went from 283ibs november 2016 to 212ibs as today after the first week i was addicted to results.

Saying "I can never look how I truly could have looked" man, that resonates with me. I had the worst food advice as a kid and a bad upbringing health wise, and I often think about the potential I had. But losing weight and helping others has also been my new goal. I can still look good. But I can save people from hurting like I did. Bless you, dude. You inspected me to get better a long time ago and I'll be paying it forward.

So much truth in this. I understand completely the damaging effects of obesity. I was 384 about 6 years ago and felt low. You gotta find the motivation in yourself if you want to achieve that change. Even after skin removal surgery, you still gotta keep at it. Truly inspirational.

Man, I'd give this a thousand likes if I could! He's very real and heartfelt. I laughed when he talked about eating more now than when he was 600 lbs., because it's so true! There's no need to go hungry--just eat clean and switch to 5-6 smaller, protein-rich meals. I'm down over 200 lbs. and frustrated with loose skin hanging from my muscle gains. I hope to save up money for that expensive surgery even though I know it's going to be painful. Now I know what to avoid when I get it. Thanks, Pat!

💪 I so apprwciate this truth. So many times I've started and quick. The roller coaster is depressing. Your thoughts become bipolar and you hear yourself saying I Can't..Don't Stop..Give Up..Don't Give Up.. Then you realize this is journey is real and its for me and I can possibly help others having these same thoughts. Thats when you know you have to keep going and that your passion for life will inspires others to live too. *Speaking for my life* 💜

this video describes my life soo much. Exactly what he said is true. I totally forgot why i started in the first place. I look at my stretch marks after loosing 90lbs and i blame my parents for the choices they made and the food they put on the table, the days that i dont have it my way (even after loosing all that weight). I blamed my parents, on the days i was in Lower Conciousness. But thats not the journey i started. I started the journey to simply turn my life and just loose simply 10 lbs. Now we get greedy after we achieve soo much, but the only thing we dont achieve is tight skin, and not being able to take shirt off. Thanks for making this video, god bless you.

He hit it on the head. I read what he said in a lifting magazine back in the day. Don't drink your calories. You can drink an unlimited amount of calories in soda, juices, smoothies, milk shakes, Starbucks in a day. It's hard to eat that many calories. You'll tap out. If you drink them you can go on and on and on.
