they do this daily . Its a "brotherhood" this is literally taught my PD academies to protect their own and charge everyone else. Although I kind of agree there is a loophole as per washington state law. Im sure it would need a trial or review by State prosecutors. This loophole would seem to apply to everyone in that state. : Duty to preserve public safety: If you are performing a duty to preserve public safety, maintain public order, or make arrests, you are exempt from the brandishing law... This may be only for on duty police like most states but its not clear to me without more research but it may be the out they need. Either way it's uncalled for and she at the very least should be made to attend some classes and given a fine. Like anger management or community service.

I have been carrying a firearm while driving for more than 45 years. During that period of time many many people have provoked and taunted me on the highways. Cutting me off, tailgating me, passing me on double yellow, brake checking me and just plain road raging on me, and yes even pointing their finger at me like it was a gun and I never, repeat never so much as touched my firearm in response. I carry a firearm everyday and I have dealt with road rage incidents worse than this. I have never considered brandishing my firearm. Further, this woman is devious. She was elated when she pulled out her ID, she was so excited her respiratory rate visibly increases. No one gets to brandish a firearm because another person makes hand gestures.
