I’ve been following your original 15 min version for about 18 months. I do this 7 days a week (might have missed one or two) as soon as I get out of bed and I find it a great way to start the day. I’m a 68 yr old Aussie who surfs, plays golf and cycles (not all at once!) and your routine is a great help in all these areas. Might give this version a run. Cheers!

Congratulations on 15 million Tom! I may have commented something like this before, but I wanted to say exactly how important that first 15 minute video was for me. I first found it at a point when my body was failing. I was running regularly, trying to rebuild fitness I had lost over a series of illnesses, but I was in constant pain. My legs ached like nothing else, and I felt incapable of dealing with the stress. At some point, I saw a David Goggins video where he talked about stretching for hours straight, and how it had completely changed his ability to run and recover. I poked through youtube, found your routine, and then something clicked. I had stretched and done yoga before, but never found a routine that really worked for me. (I'm slightly allergic to people saying "namaste" in a breathy voice). Your style of video was exactly what I was looking for. At first I tried doing just your 15 min routine every night before I went to sleep. After maybe the third day, I woke up pain-free, and completely amazed. I had no idea stretching could have such a positive effect on my well-being. It focused me, and restored my ability to sleep, relax, and recover. I followed that video every day for over a month without fail, and started adding more and more follow-along routines to the end of it. KZbin would autoplay me through your evening relaxation, hamstring flexibility, and many more routines and vlogs. Somehow, I was able to get into the best shape of my life in the following months. I've been through many ups and downs since then, but I've continued to follow and be inspired by your channel. I'm a proud owner of some nice wooden rings, and have a goal to perform a stalder press before I turn 30. I really appreciate the resources you put out there, and plan to make use of them for years to come.

Tom! You made my day!! I was so sooo excited to see this. Brilliant 15 minute stretch 👏🏻 🎉 I’m definitely not your typical audience, I’m a 47 year old female dental hygienist in US. I have chronic pain and I am out of shape. Your variety of stretch videos have been life altering to me. I try to start my day with one every day. I wake up with severe neck and upper back stiffness and achiness and after one of your videos I feel great! The first one I came across was the 1 hour active flexibility. This helped alleviate tight muscle tension that had built up over 20 years. Please try to come up with more short videos with this audience in mind. I’m sure I’m not the only one. I’ve shared your channel with my chiropractor. I feel like I’m ready to start building strength not sure where to begin to avoid injury. Thank you thank you 🙏🏼 ❤❤

Thankyou! Love follow alongs. Not sure if you're taking requests, but I'm wondering if you can create a video specifically targeting soleus flexibility? You have your build strong ankles and fix your ankles videos which touch on the soleus and focus on strength, but a video focused on soleus in relation to flexibility would be amazing. The internet is flooded with gastrocnemius advice, but the soleus seems to get ignored.

Is there any other hamstring stretches that anyone would recommend swapping in? The one in the follow through just gives me an intense, quite painful, almost burning sensation in the back of my knee and i cant really get any stretch into the hamstring. Love the follow along so would be good if I can get everything covered!
@VonBlo0d3 ай бұрын
This sounds like you have a tight sciatic nerve, meaning you're not actually stretching the muscle but instead the nerve. Look into nerve flossing if you want to relieve that, doing this before stretching helped me feel the stretch in the muscles instead of that weird burning tingly sensation of the nerve. If that doesn't help, for me the version where you start in the position for the kneeling hip flexor stretch, then lean back with your front leg stretched out works wonders. Fair warning though, it can be very intense and it's hard for me to find a level that's challenging but not too hard. Experiment with those positions a bit until you find something that works for you!
