Indeed you do epitomize the philosophy of mindfulness that says "we are not only the food we eat, but what we see, hear & speak" ! what a joy to watch your work! you're a gifted man! I just made dumplings for the third time using this dough recipe, and it always turns out perfect. when kneading the dough it seems like it's too rough and will never come together, but it will. it will also get much smoother when you roll it out. i would suggest using corn flour/starch for when you're rolling to prevent sticking, and also if you're stacking your wrappers definitly put some corn flour in between. i tried with regular flour once, but the dough will absorb the flour and make the dough rougher and it doesnt prevent sticking. i also found the corn starch helps prevent the dough from drying out (especially on wrapper endings).

Really recommend rolling the edges thinner and the middle thicker

I finally made these today and am eating them right now. They are soooooooo good. The only thing I didn’t have were the sesame seeds but the sesame oil still gave the flavor. Love the ginger! The dipping sauce is great! It wasn’t hard rolling out the dough circles either and for a person who has anxiety working with flour, I feel like I got away with something. Well, now to clean up the huge mess. You have to try these!!!!!! Thank you Chef Peaceful Cuisine!

I absolutely love this video. I first saw the one without the music and it was so nice to just be able to focus on the recipe without the added noise. I enjoyed hearing the sound of the knife on the board and cutting the ingredients. Now am watching the one with the music and it's just as beautiful and soothing as the first version. Guess what I'll be having tomorrow for dinner. Steamed Dumplings. Thank you!

hello~ i've been following your channel for quite a while now. since almost a year i think. the more videos i watch from you, the more i get addicted to them. your asmr videos and the ones you add music in, i really love all of them. like your channel name says, they are really peaceful, calm and good to watch when i feel anxious or even when i'm not, because i like the beautifulness and aesthetic of them. i love your editing, your camera angles, and how sometimes you add some humour in your cooking videos. i also love that your gestures are quick and dynamic, unlike most of the other cooking videos where people are slow and careful with their movements, which honestly makes me kind of bored. it's gotten to a point where i have watched so many of your videos that i can even recognize most of the ustensils and ingredients you use haha please keep doing what you're doing. i'll be cheering for you on the other side of the screen.

I may have been too late as I watched this video today, but i want to mention that the cabbage is totally different from the one you can find in Europe even if it looks like the same. the cabbage we can get in japan is very soft and slightly sweet, so i think the most similar one is Chou Pointu. you can never use any other cabbages for any Japanese cuisine.
