Shout out to BA for becoming hands down the best online repository of cooking videos. Not only are all the recipes solid and on point, but everyone you've chosen to feature has great personality and their own style. Also, Vinny doesn't get enough love for making these videos fun to watch. Editors never the respect they are due. You do great work man.

@@delson007. He's both. He does the shooting and the editing for a lot of videos, which is why the It's Alive with Brad videos are edited differently than other videos. Brad alludes to it a lot in his videos too ("cut that out vinny," "make sure to include this one vinny," "edit x in here vinny," etc.). Also, at 7:57 of this video (and in many parts of other videos), there are frequently editor's notes. I doubt the editor was standing around with Carla waiting for the caramel.

I wouldn’t make it again, not worth the effort and time put into it just to become like a basic caramel chocolate candy like at the end

I´ve made this a couple of months ago, and it was perfect, one of the best BA´s recipes I´ve made so far (thank Clair xoxo). This video reminded me, that I need to make it again. BTW I just love how Carla always talks about that quarter turn of dough by Chris whenever she makes pie/tarts

The fact that this is a Claire recipe makes it all the better! A beautiful hommage to Clair - hope she'll come back for another Gourmet-Version soon :)

That tart is looking so delicious and everyone who ate it must have wanted to make some for their families at home. Thanks for sharing this recipe and I wish all the staff of Bon Appetit a Happy New Year.
