I will explain why the joints and bones in the body produces that loud noise, popping, and cracking sound.

OMG that looks scary yet a highly effective way for quick relief of nerve pain.

Haha! No just looks that way. This Doc is an amazing adjuster. He's a Valedictorian and he's helped thousands of people. Adjustments is an art and science knowing the proper lines of drive, proper palpation, and anatomical landmarks to contact. I've seen miracles with hundreds of patients where I can write an encyclopedia. I would stress that not all Chiropractors are the same, people need to do their research.

Doc how much truth is there that neck manipulations can lead to strokes? Last year I had a number of rather "violent" manipulations and suffered an optic stroke. I was tested for every dread disease under the sun but all NAD. Now I am afraid to have physio on my neck again.
@motivationaldoc9 жыл бұрын
Most common talk would have to be a vertebral artery stroke. That would have be done by excessive rotation of the cervical spine. Although that is still controversial. I have never heard of anyone causing any arterial blockage in any person in 30 years.

Is the adjustment to relieve the pressure from the gasses on the nerve, or is it to adjust the actual spine and the popping is just a result of it? so pretty much im asking if it cracks is it an adjustment? or does it have to do with moving the bone itself? Can you adjust without releasing gasses or hearing a pop, or is the adjustment itself the relief of the gas/liquid?
@motivationaldoc8 жыл бұрын
That is a good question. With the adjustment you will normally hear cavitation. Although the primary purpose of the adjustment is to reduce and remove nerve root compression and or irritation. It is also used to help free up any fixations are locking of the joints.

Hello dr. Mandell, You say that popping noise from joints is caused by gas release. Is there a way to prevent gas from being accumulated in the first place. My knees pop once every morning after i stand up. It feels like tention that needs to be released. I do that by thrusting knee backwards. May this be harmfull ?
@motivationaldoc9 жыл бұрын
No there is no way to get around that. Although it's not the gases that make you feel good it's the stimulation and stretching of the joint.

+motivationaldoc thank you for answering. I love your videos, it's really helping to find imbalances in the body and finding a way to correct them. God bless you !

Dr Mandell, I read somewhere that they have linked neck manipulations to strokes. Now I realise this is not a neck manipulation per se but in 2014 I had an optic stroke with NAD out of the blue and had some very harsh neck manipulations around that time. How safe is this cavitation?
@motivationaldoc8 жыл бұрын
Extremely safe from a competent and well trained physician

I know it's 2 different conditions. Is the cracks in my neck from dystonia? Will chiropractic work help? I'm here today so it won't be a haemorrhage thankfully

Hi Stephen, saying ignorant is not appreciated. I have 3500 emails to reply to and unfortunately it's impossible to respond to all. Yes, Chiropractic can be beneficial. Neuromuscular reeducation/Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Re-education is good for cervical dystonia. Medco-sonilation/using ultrasound and EMS together has been productive with many of dystonia patients I've seen over the years. Good Luck!
@stephenm3537 жыл бұрын
Really!! Is that a threat? Anyway Dr what's the benefits of this cannabidiol for dystonia? I'm reading different things about it. Your pro opinion would be appreciated
