Thank you for ending my headache ... For about a month I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, until I realised I forgot to use DISKPART and clean the disk so it was uninitialised ..Complete doughnut moment.. Thanks :)

@@TweakTips True, but honestly if you could have seen the stress I had every day rotating between 10 different SSDs and 2.5" HDDs reformatting the external and internal HDDs to keep retrying it was getting beyond a joke and came close to throwing it away.. Something as simple as setting the disk to not initialised and problem solved. Happy kids again now :)

Umm, My Console "Xbox one s" gives a plethora of errors. I can't update or install any files from the USB Stick. I feel its going through severe hardware failure. I click on the Offline update button, It pauses on 0 and throws an error. I don't see any corrosion on the Motherboard, CPU GPU or anything to do with the power and sata ports. I tested 3 *Working* hard drives and SSD's which where above 512 gigs.

Have you tried another SATA cable (the one that connects the HDD to the motherboard)?

Did you completely wipe the hard drive before you installed it?

Hi. I follow your instructions and i cannot load in to the boot menu, no picture.. any idea? What is the problem

When you say boot manu, do you mean the safe mode menu? Do you hear any beeps when you power the Xbox on?

@@TweakTips After repeated attempts with the factory hdd, I managed to update from usb (because it always froze). Then, in the main menu, I couldn't access anything except the off menu... not the store, not the settings... I have a video of this. Then now that I changed the hdd, the system automatically formats the hdd to the partitions I need, but no picture

@@rajmundnagy2007 After it has installed the OSU1 from USB, when you switch on the Xbox it may show a blank screen for 30 or more seconds if you do not have the green loading animation. Try turning on the xbox and leaving it for a couple of minutes - does it eventually boot to the dashboard?

It worked! I swaped hdd from computer and xbox places and both of them work, but then i wonder why hard drive was not working on xbox but works in pc?

You can, but the Xbox will only use 500GB

Intente recargar OSU1 nuevamente, pero ¿podría haber un problema con el SSD?

@@TweakTips el SSD es nuevo sin fallas , cada vez que me pasa tengo que esperar 1 mes a qué Microsoft saque la actualización de osu1 nueva y ahí vuelve a funcionar la consola de nuevo , ahora me volvió a pasar y claro , mí consola tiene un sistema más nuevo que el osu1 actual entonces llega al 1% y da error .

@@emersonromeo9943 Podría ser un problema con la NAND integrada de la Xbox que está dañada y no con el disco duro. Además, podría ser un cable SATA de Xbox defectuoso; ya he visto esto antes.

I did Everything, still, when i turn on the console the error persist and it does a short noice, it doesn't recognize the external USB that also has the updated file, and after doing the hole process its true when it says repair, it says preparing the console and it gets up to 50%, before it gave a error at 5%. still it is not working, im going to try with a spare cable.

@zulq4rn4yn i did the teat with different hard drive, thing is the partition for software update is like 12gb and to paste two times its not enogh space Osu1 is 6 gb and it used to be 5... still the problem persist
