i’m OBSESSED with the 2nd and third shelves, plus the left side of the top shelf. i think possibly if you moved the books on the left side just a little bit farther to the left to let the books breathe and the layout speak for itself it would look a little less crowded, but i also love the idea of them overflowing and looking like they’re just consuming the entire shelf. that bookshelf is a gem!!!

Your bookshelf is super cute! Dollar Tree has metal display easels, and I use those to hold books upright without fighting with them. I decorate my bookshelf by season and those easel help a lot!

Yay for Dad's that help. The shelf/case is beautiful. Love that you save ARC packaging that is special. I can't see the top shelf embroidery -- behind the arc bear. May look different in person.

The knee noises are nothing to worry about 🙂 I noticed that in myself when I was twenty and freaked out about it for a while. But over the years I have done a ton of running and a lot of jumping exercises too and never had any knee injury, they've held up a lot better than average. By the way you look strong 🙂 and cool bookshelf. now you don't have to keep them stacked like Karl Lagerfield. 🙂

I have that same bookshelf! Love that it’s deep so lots of books fit hate that hardcovers are too big for the shelves. But it looks great.

I think the knee sounds might be crepitus. If your knees aren't swollen or you don't feel pain, generally not something to be very worried about.

I'm just worried that your feet will knock the items at the top shelf. Or any heavy, fragile, etc. items will be dropping if any thing gets near the foot of the bed (feet, pillow, etc.). Otherwise, it's a great bookshelf.
