Funny. I used to be called antisocial just for being an introvert.

Lmao aspd is not characterized by being an intro or extrovert, but by not conforming to the social norms, such as abiding by a moral compass and instilling ethical practices in their day to day. And contrary to popular belief, ASPers do know the difference between right and wrong, but simply don't give a fuck. That is why you see corporate psychopaths usually in executive seats or higher management positions, any corners they had to cut or people they hurt along the way is done so without fear of reprisal and always done so without a conscience.

It’s not even people being ignorant towards psychiatry. It’s people being ignorant towards language. What u were was “probably” an asocial (prefix a which means you avoid social interaction). While antisocial (prefix anti which means your against something, in this case society).

Introvert doesn’t mean anti social - antisocial people are the most charming charismatic people that attract a huge crowd around them Anti social people do not respect established authority and other people’s boundaries- hence they tend to cause trouble

I have BPD cluster B with overlapping traits of narcissistic personality disorder it has made my life miserable, horrible and at times it’s been more like torture. It has made me forget about all the happy times and only has left all the negative times. I’m getting treatment now it’s a slow journey.

These are very vague and poor descriptions of these personality types. While yes these people can be horrible, my wife is a self aware narcissist. She is honestly the best person I've ever met and does not treat people terribly, we have talks every night and she does have bad thoughts but she doesn't act on them anymore. My wife struggles with feelings of inadequacy and will take on the personality traits of any new person who she sees as funny, cool or superior and no one talks about these things. Narcissism is the only one I can safely safe is portrayed very poorly in this video but I'll assume the rest are just as lazily thrown together. There's more to the complexity of the human brain than you think.

@@gwendolynkaren5933 No, they don’t need to. Their wife is self aware and is getting the help she needs. Having cluster B personality disorders doesn’t make them inherently bad. Most people who have these disorders don’t know why they act the way they do, they just do it. The traits of NPD listed in the video are symptoms that can be managed with therapy and possibly meds if they’re dealing with a coexisting condition. Their wife is one of the rare recovering people with NPD.
@samanthabarron84812 жыл бұрын
You are so lucky that your wife is willing to get help with her behaviors, the vast majority of NPD sufferers are not self-aware enough to get help which is why it is recommended not to be in these relationships. It takes a very empathetic partner to tolerate and work with someone to overcome this. You must have a really great bond!
