If you notice, she looks shocked in the middle of Phil saying he’ll handle his funeral arrangements like maybe something clicked and she put it together Phil had murdered Vito so to play her shock and horror off she blames it on the tailor & begins bawling.

I like the role Patty played as Phil's wife, she seemed as ruthless and judgmental as he was. And she influenced his decision to kill Vito, perhaps she was even aware that it was Phil who killed him. When you consider this, it makes the scene with her and Vito's widow rather chilling.

Great casting. Apparently the actress is a real estate agent who studied acting at university but had very few film appearances before Sopranos. She plays the part perfectly.

I think she was the most repugnant person on the show for me, combining all the worst features of the other women in the show: Carmela’s hypocrisy, her mom’s arrogance, Janice’s manipulation, envy and ambition, all clothed in that awful false piety. I know people usually hate Janice the most, but this woman takes the cake for me.

One thing I just noticed… “Small service, just the immediate family.” That made sure none of Tony’s crew or the NY Families would attend. Likely both to shield Marie from the fact that so many of Vito’s “friends” wouldnt be there and to deny Vito a typical send off that a made guy receives.

She seems really nice. Vito's homosexuality is a moral affront she will never recover from, but her husband being a psychopathic murderer is totally cool. That dude chucking up as Phil's head pops like a coconut remains awesome, though. God, I love this show.
