Question - I edited a guitar sample in sample editor and set the tempo to project tempo at 120 bpm but when I recorded it into sampler track it played back at original tempo. Can't get it to platy at project tempo?

...I wish it had ,,hot swap,, option like ableton to be able to replace samples while playing..GA5 can do this..but it would be amazing to have it on the sampler too..regards

Hey Eric, it does! You simply drag and drop any sample from anywhere onto the sampler track. Simple. You can also lock attributes, so if you want envelope changes, filter settings etc (for example) to remain whilst swapping samples you can do that as well.

@@Borntoproduce yes but while you drop the sample it stops playing..you cant preview in real time....in GA5 you can swap replace the sample in real time ....regards

@@djerikfox It should not stop the track from playing. If it does I would presume that is some kind of bug. Try reinstalling, and make sure you have the latest update etc. If you keep having problems then I would contact Stienberg. I use it all the time, whilst the track is playing and have for years :)

Not in the sampler track, although you can add multiple samples to Groove Agent and use that as a sampler :)

you can, just not in the sampler track. Use Groove Agent instead. You can first create hitpoints on the audio and then create slices from that (each pad becomes a chop very quickly). Just look up Vocal Chops in Cubase video!! I also wish sampler track had it

Not everyone's cup of tea as they are pricy but I use a gaming laptop which deals with audio processing easy peasy fans are noisy but on head phones not an issue and you obviously don't hear them in the recording unless you are using a mic.

Hi there great tutorial the sampler sets every sample at C3 which is great in most cases but I have lots of pro-samples that I would like to map independently so I could use a custom drum map is there any way to do this in the sampler in Cubase without using grove agent? as using my old CD3000xl is getting to be a pain I am old so forgive me lol

Hey, I answered you via email but i'll post my response here as well as it might help others... Do you mean you want to add many drums to the same sampler track? You can't do this as yet in Cubase without using Groove Agent. The 'sampler track' is only capable of loading one sample at a time, I do hope they will update this in later versions though.

Hello, I have a problem and I would like to ask you, I am working with cubase 10.5, in Windows 10, and I have noticed that within my project, I name each track, with the shift + enter key, so far so good, my problem is that when saving my project, as a backup, or also "saving as ...", I close cubase and I go to the folder where I saved the project, and the tracks appear in the 'audio' folder, but without a name, just They come out as "audio 01, audio 02 ...", how could I get them to save me with the names that I have already put into the project?
