To avoid estrogen build up you do two weeks on 2 and off, you can go higher on Boron that way, 3x3 mg per day. Boron does not stay in the body very long, hence 3 doses during the day. I take Boron in the morning with zinc, vid 3 spray and potassium, don’t take all in one go, stage it. Boron and zinc first then potassium etc later. I have no joint pain or vision problems and wake up with a nice health manhood

Hey bro how did you find out that we have to take it in 2 week cycles to keep the estrogen low? Its the first time i read that.
@bigmoisture69
@bigmoisture69 2 жыл бұрын
@@aliha8170 theres no study behind it. Its just pseudoscience because a study made in 1999 that after 4 weeks of boron consumption increases estrogen. But guess what another study conducted over the course of 8 weeks actually showed a rise in overall testosterone of over 11%. So in conclusion, people are cycling boron for no reason other than the fact that estrogen levels rise a little, other than that boron as way to many benefits to ignore.
@philmcrackinnow
@philmcrackinnow Жыл бұрын
@@aliha8170 It takes one week for the Boron to completely leave your system and another week for estrogen to go back down. A guy told me that he takes 6mg and does 2 on 2 off and it increases his free test 30%. He said 9mg increases it 35%, but that there’s less side effects for him at 6mg and the increase in free test isn’t that much less.

One small idea I want to throw in is that the increase in estrogen could be a result of higher aromatisation due to higher T. It just does not seem right that a mineral has to be cycled on and off. Maybe a combination of boron and zinc which is known to decrease both aromatisation and estrogen receptor activity could help you avoid the increase in estrogen. Let me know what you think and again thanks for your video
@NutritionLibrary
@NutritionLibrary 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah. It is also possible that the increase is coming from super physiological doses of boron. This doesn’t occur in nature. My stance is that if you are taking low doses (like what is found in typical food sources) there is no need to cycle. But there likely also won’t be spike in test, but rather an optimization. I’m with you though. It shouldn’t have to be cycled
@AndrewFord
@AndrewFord 2 жыл бұрын
Boron is usually mixed with multiple minerals it controls such as Mag, Cal, Pot, etc. so cycling yes doesn't make sense because the body regulates itself short-term, and long-term when taken in formula ratios especially, for these trace minerals so only take in their respected trace amounts which companies offer in synergistic formulas.

The mechanism is actually understood, Boron reduces shbg which eventually allows more testosterone to circulate...excess testosterone can convert to estrogen...therefore this can result in increased testosterone AND estrogen the body. Sbhg regulates how much hormone is active in the body...therefore, it is important to know your shbg level when doing hrt bc too high/low can lead to hormone imbalance. For example, if you're doing hrt n yet your numbers aren't improving make sure your doc is checking your shbg levels.

I've had similar night and day results. I'm in my 40s and I take what is called "Six Star Testosterone Booster". It's about ~$11 USD for 15 days worth (30 capsules to be taken twice a day). I've heard from people who have tried multiple brands that it's not the most effective product but one of the most affordable. It delivers 5mg of boron if I understand the nutrition label correctly through boron citrate. I suspect one of the reasons it seems to make such a huge difference for me is partially my age and also my nutrition. I looked up food tables of food sources naturally rich in boron like raisins and almonds and, while I eat fairly healthy things like salmon and chicken breast and broccoli and organ meats, I don't get to eat those on a daily basis (they're kind of expensive where I live). So I suspect my nutrition tends to make me boron-deficient, and supplementing makes a world of difference in my case. I got measurable athletic performance differences like 100m dash times and PRs on lifts and chest-to-bar pull-ups that I only set while taking boron supplements, only to see those numbers decline as soon as I stopped taking boron, only to see them improve once more when I resumed. The even bigger difference besides those numbers is how I feel, but the numbers suggest to me that there's a lot more going on than placebo. In terms of feeling, without boron supplementation a single hard workout session used to make me want to nap the rest of the day, so I preferred working out in the evenings. With boron supplementation, I can push myself really hard in my training and still have more than enough energy left over for the rest of the day, so I can train really hard in the mornings and still have so much energy left over for the rest of the day.

I think it's true that its efficacy is due to its interactions. I think that's probably true of all minerals. F'rinstance, if you put a couple of drops of Lugol's Iodine in some Celtic sea salt, its effect is much more apparent than if you just have it in water. Similar with putting it in food. When people complain of having herxheimer reactions due to consuming iodine/boron/diatomaceous earth, etc, I don't think that "herx" is what's happening at all. I think what's happening is that if the body doesn't recognise it as food, it tries to treat it as if it were a a poison. I think the best way to take borax is to put it in coffee. If you do that Earth Clinic drinking-water-all-day method, you'll just feel queasy and piss out most of the boron anyway.

A guy from another video on KZbin recommended 1 teaspoon of borox (boron) and add that to 1 litre of filtered or distilled water, and every morning take 1 teaspoon from that mixture on a empty stomach. I've been doing that for a few weeks now but will increase that to 1 tablespoon. And on the fourth week I don't take anything just to let the body digest or absorb everything. What are your thoughts on that? Also, if anyone here knows anything about how to get rid of bone spurs (osteophyte disease) which I've got because of bulging discs, then please do share. Apparently Apple cider vinegar does the trick. And great video. I've subscribed.

Great question. I do aim to get a lot through food, the only problem is that a most of our plants today are grown in mineral depleted soil, so I tend to focus on mineral supplementation. I currently take zinc, mag, boron, vitamin d/k, creatine, omega 3s (because my wife isn’t a fan of fish lol), and a collagen/whey protein, and aged garlic for long term heart health every day. A multi vitamin 2 times per week. I am also considering switching to a broad mineral supplement here soon that contains several minerals, since recent research suggests they all work together to improve health. That's because in your teens, you already have high optimal levels of free and total testosterone and would receive no benefit from testosterone boosting supplements. Increased DHT levels, will result in male pattern baldness; that’s an irrefutable fact. More research is needed.
@NutritionLibrary
@NutritionLibrary 3 жыл бұрын

@davide4607

These conclusions are not sound. There is no evidence that the elevated estrogen will have any negative effects at all, since it is coupled with an increase in free testosterone. The 2 work in conjunction with each other and since both go up in tandem their ratios are not altered. Furthermore, cycling boron has never been studied, and boron builds up in the body, so there is no evidence that cycling would be the superior route. You are just assuming that you can spike it and it will come back to baseline after with the ability to be spiked continuously, which we have no evidence of and long term may just have similar results as taking it continuously. Also for hormone health, the only significant results were obtained with doses between 6 and 11mgs, so 3mg is very likely to do nothing as the 2.5mg study did not result in significant improvements.
@NutritionLibrary
@NutritionLibrary 3 жыл бұрын
There is no direct research to indicate that either of our conclusions are correct. I could be wrong. But nonetheless, it would probably be prudent to not take 10 times the typical boron intake on a continual daily basis. Especially since there isn’t much understanding about how it interacts with other minerals.
