I learned about boron about 3 years ago and began a supplement of 20 mg per day each day 7 day per week with no fasting from the use. According to the literature the half life is 21 hours which should work out that your body level will build to 2 times your intake in about 4 to 5 days and level off at 2 times your intake. If you stop or miss taking the supplement, the boron level will return to pre supplement levels in about 3 to 4 days. My PSA level dropped from 7.2 back to 2.8 then to 2.5 then most recent to 2.2. (PSA is a measure of the prostate protein antigen that indicates cancer or onset of cancer). Bone density was measured at 26% above that of the world health standard of a 30 year old. Testosterone level increased from below 300 to over 600, accompanied by a substantial increase in sex drive and sex performance. I turned 80 this October. Most recent physical revealed for the first time a cholesterol level below 200 and no longer taking blood pressure meds. Last of all........my calcium score came back that of being in the 25% level for my age. In other words only 25% of the men my age have this low of a calcium score (calcium deposit in the heart). I expect to have a new score run in the near future. I also now take a regiment of vitamins and minerals as well as recently picked up a routine for healthy foods and medical mushrooms. All have shown health improvements.

Boron, 10 mg/day, at least 3 mg/day as a maintenance dose. I make my own supplement (and several of my friends get it from me, and it is effective against their arthritis). I bought borax on the internet, 1 kg serves for 30 years of use and is quite cheap: $0.001 per day! *I dissolve 9 grams of borax in 500 ml pure water* (demineralized or distilled water, but boiled tap water will do also). Store in the dark to avoid formation of algae. Storage in the fridge is best (cool and dark). Borax contains 11.3%.elemental Boron. This supplement contains 18 mg/ml Borax and this gives 2 mg of elemental boron per milliliter. So, 5 ml contains 10 mg of elemental boron and I take this daily in a glass of water before bedtime together with magnesium. Borax is known as a detergent or even as an insecticide. Does this mean that it is dangerous? I know that people take much larger doses than me, but I think that's beyond supplemental. The amount I take IS safe, remember: the dose is important. Same for something like table salt: you don't take 40 grams per day! Ok, boron helps building and maintaining healthy bones. To avoid osteoporosis: combine it with Vit D3 (at least 4000 IU per day) and with Vit K2 (MK7 form), 100 micrograms or more per day and Magnesium. K2 activates the bone building and renewal process and ensures that Calcium goes to your teeth and bones, not to blood vessels or kidney, bladder. Boron makes that postmenstrual women don't pee out calcium and other minerals. It also promotes healthy levels of testosterone for men and oestrogen for women. It is *anti-inflammatory and anti-mold.* Now, if you want to know more, search and download "Nothing boring about Boron" or the easier read "The Boron conspiracy". *Note: it promotes healthy levels of sex hormones. So: pregnant women don't use it, and children only lower doses.* *People with hormone sensitive cancer: talk with your specialist. You probably shouldn't use Boron.* *Vit K2: People who use a blood thinner like Warfarin or Coumarine: don't use K2 without talking with your prescribing physician. Ask for a different class of blood thinners that don't interfere with K2*

@@g.s.5868 A nice read is "the Boron conspiracy", that you can Google and download as pdf. It clearly shows what happened when a pharmaceutical company learned about the use of borax. It cannot be patented... The toxicity (LD50) is comparable to that of table salt and glucose (all tested in rats, and yes, I know, you are not a rat :) It is found in drinking water in mining villages in Turkey up to 26 mg/liter and people don't suffer from it, but hardly any arthritis cases are found there. In Haiti, where there's no boron in the soil, cases of arthritis are abundant. China? Why would they? It is mined in Turkey; Boron, California; and Searles Lake, California, Southwestern United States, Bolivia, Tibet, Romania..

Most doctors are worn out, stressed out, burned out, and almost a million dollars in debt. I think they just don't have room in their schedule or in their brain to care. Plus, it's very depressing to lose a patient that you care about. Our system is not set up for healthcare - it's set up for sick care - to just treat the symptoms, not the cause.

I had a pain issue in my right shoulder.........took horse radish for over 10 years and that always immediately removed the pain to 0. But last year for more than a year.......horse radish did no longer work.......I then went to my doctor and was referred to a specialist........MRI and Xrays showed ligament damage but not to the extent that warranted anything more than a special exercise.......which also did not help. Then for other reasons I started the medical mushroom supplement.........I noticed a steady improvement in my shoulder pain and completely gone in about 3 weeks. After I was on the mushroom routine for about 8 weeks......I stopped as I suspected a side effect cough. However the shoulder pain returned. I have again went back on the mushroom supplement and the side effect never came back and the shoulder pain again went away. This is not full proof of the benefit of medical mushroom but does indicate that there is a connection. I will continue with the use of both boron and the medical mushrooms. Long term seems to be very beneficial.

Your body is the largest organ in your body so it will absorb it and you will see results, they might not be as quickly or as much as you want though. BUT, is the boron even bioavailable in those plant foods? I find plants ruin my digestion, so I don't eat them anymore. Also, whenever I have eaten them, they make my armpits snell. I haven't used deodorant for over 15 years, and I don't ever smell, not even when I use my near infrared red sauna, and sweat buckets. The minute I eat fruits or vegetables, ugh, I stink. It happened the whole time I was raw vegan, too. I could not get the stench to go away, especially from my armpits. Only when I went carnivore did it disappear. Again, if I eat out, and order a salad, I wake up the next morning all stinky stinky under my arms, lol. Weird, huh? I started taking boron for my pineal gland, but I'm excited to see all the rest of the benefits I'm getting by taking it!!! Thank you Dr. Osborne. You are THE BEST TEACHER. @@allison471 Hi. I eat Costco steaks, Kirkland thick bacon, organic chicken, sardines, oysters, wild caught salmon (sometimes farm, but mostly wild), pastured eggs (or organic brown from Costco) and a 1/4 cow of grass raised beef I get delivered. I don't eat store bought often, but I have. My arm pits don't smell from it. I had zero clue what was causing my stench, but it was GROSS when I was a raw vegan. It would not go away no matter what I tried. I went to carnivore, and it took about a month of eating meat, fish, eggs, dairy, with zero plants, and POOF, it was gone. Then I forgot all about it, until probably a year later I ordered s salad with dinner, and woke up the next morning with smelly armpits, thinking wtf? I thought it could be a coincidence, so I did a few experiments over the next 6 months of eating carnivore for a while, then eating a cooked vegetable with dinner, and YUCK, I smelled again. I also did raw vegetables...smell. Fruit...smell. I have hated vegetables from a very young age (kids always know), and so I just don't eat them. I don't miss them. I do like salads, but only because of the dressing and accoutrements, so It's not about the lettuce, and more about the goodies on top. Same with all vegetables. Mushrooms are gross asf, but put a half stick of melted kerrygold butter on top, and then YUM YUM. Fruit is just not my favorite, but I experimented with it, too. In fact, fruit next levels the armpit stank to new heights. It's just WRONG. So, now, just don't eat plants at all. My digestion has healed, and I never smell. They also cause DEADLY vegan farts, which EWWWWW, lol. I farted every 30 seconds as a raw vegan. Talk about grosssss, haha.

One element I believed you missed in the bone matrix is strontium. Ca, Mg, D, *K2,* Boron and *Strontium.* Plus, the Pauling Protocol, for collagen formation (6g C and 3g lysine a day). I had all these other things, but was missing Boron; thank you. Great video; liked and subscribed.

Are you referring to "Linus Paulling" in the protocol. Thank you dear. ❤🙏
@privateerburrows
@privateerburrows 5 ай бұрын
@@joannh930 Yes, exactly. Bones are not stones; they are built on a collagen matrix, and collagen production goes down rapidly with age due to attempts to conserve the little vitamin C and Lysine we get from our diet. The story about vitamin C is complicated. We are one of the very few species of mammals that have lost the ability to produce our own vitamin C. We humans, orangutans, and some other ape. A typical dog makes 17 grams a day of vitamin C. A large animal, like a cow, probably 100 to 200 grams a day. Vitamin C, ascorbic acid, is actually pretty similar to glucose (sugar); not too difficult to convert glucose to vitamin C. And, surprise, we have not lost the gene; we still have the gene to produce vitamin C; the problem is one of missing an activation mechanism; in other words, it is an "epi-genetic mutation", rather than a genetic one. In any case, we survived for a few million years because we being omnivore creatures, we ate animals. And since the invention of fire is rather recent, we ate the animals raw. Raw meat is super-rich in vitamin C; that's why the esquimo lived in good health eating only meat: they did not cook it. Once you cook meat, the vitamin C in it is destroyed. But yeah, back in those days, a pound of meat typically has several grams of vitamin C; far more than citrus fruits' humble milligrams. But so, this is why we should all be popping vitamin C tablets by the dozens per day. Every time I mention to people the Linus Pauling protocol, they exclaim "megadose!", but nothing could be further from the truth; vitamin C is produced and used by animals by the dozens of grams per day; it was never meant to be a "MICRO-nutrient". The RDA of 60 mg per day would be a joke if it were funny.

@@privateerburrows, do you know what the lysine does exactly? Thanks
@privateerburrows
@privateerburrows 4 ай бұрын
@@theladyofthelakesFTs888 I quote the NIH: *_Collagen synthesis is severely diminished in osteoarthritis; thus, enhancing it may help the regeneration of cartilage. This requires large amounts of glycine, proline and lysine. Previous works of our group have shown that glycine is an essential amino acid, which must be present in the diet in large amounts to satisfy the demands for collagen synthesis. Other authors have shown that proline is conditionally essential. In this work we studied the effect of these amino acids on type II collagen synthesis. Bovine articular chondrocytes were cultured under a wide range of different concentrations of glycine, proline and lysine. Chondrocytes were characterized by type II collagen immunocytochemistry of confluence monolayer cultures. Cell growth and viability were assayed by trypan blue dye exclusion method. Type II collagen was measured in the monolayer, every 48 h for 15 days by ELISA. Increase in concentrations of proline and lysine in the culture medium enhances the synthesis of type II collagen at low concentrations, but these effects decay before 1.0 mM. Increase of glycine as of 1.0 mM exceeds these effects and this increase continues more persistently by 60-75%. Since the large effects produced by proline and lysine are within the physiological range, while the effect of glycine corresponds to a much higher range, these results demonstrated a severe glycine deficiency for collagen synthesis. Thus, increasing glycine in the diet may well be a strategy for helping cartilage regeneration by enhancing collagen synthesis, which could contribute to the treatment and prevention of osteoarthritis._* So, yeah, when I read about the Pauling Protocol, there was a full version having vitamin C, Lysine, Proline and Glycine; and there was a minimalist version having vitamin C and Lysine only. I mentioned the minimalist version in my post, just to not overload readers.

I started taking the Boron solution 10 years ago . I Take 5 ml of a borax and mix it with a 16 oz of 150° hot water. After that up or Shake It Up and I probably take 15 mL of that solution per day. I came across some money this year so I took me a nice long summer vacation and I just forgot to take my boron. I broke my back when I was 14 and I've never had surgery on it. It doesn't bother me a lot but if I ride a motorcycle or something like that and hit a hard pothole it'll get me. I also have some really bad arthritis in one of my knuckles in my left hand it's so bad when I wake up in the mornings that finger will be locked closed. I can't open that finger without it popping real hard and hurting bad. I realized I had not been taking my solution regularly for God only knows how long so I started getting about 15 mL a day and within 3 days my finger is completely well. My back takes a little time because it's a severe injury but I honestly don't think I could walk if it weren't for taking the solution. I know this, I worked out for 20 years of my life and I stayed in excellent shape. I just quit at 38 years old. I tried to get back into it a couple times in my forties and it's kicking my ass. When I learned about this Boron solution and started using it I can work out like I was a teenager again. It took about a week and a half for me to notice it was working but that was the biggest thing for me. All those old man aches and pains that I had are gone. I'm 53 years old right now and I'm not scared to jump out of the bed of my pickup truck. As a matter of a fact, I do it all the time. I write a cruiser style motorcycle and they're not the best on your back but I bought one of those posture support things to wear when I ride so if I hit a pothole it doesn't feel like my back is breaking again. I truthfully think I would be a crippled if I didn't take this stuff. I also State take vitamin D3 and K2 and magnesium and spirulina and chlorella blue green algae not to mention all natural plant-based multivitamins but I was still taking all of that stuff when my finger in my back started bothering me. The only thing I wasn't doing at that time was taking the boron. My finger was in horrible shape! Three days of taking boron and I can't even tell him I have an issue with my finger.

With plants you need boron to carry calcium in. Calcium is needed to carry the other minerals into the plant. It is thought that you also need silicon as the 1sr step before Boron. Who knows with animals as the gut is the source, and not the soil. But the soil biome plant root relationship starts the cycle using sugars exudated from plants into the soil to kick start the process from photosynthesis.

Borax is the salt of boron. Boron itself cannot be absorbed by the body. But no matter which kind you take, it‘ll all break down to boric acid, which then is used by the body.

Learn to get that aggression under control. Don’t need a pill, just give consideration to the people that are making you aggressive, do they deserve that? Educate them, you just might change someone for the positive.

Boron has had conflicting studies concerning estradiol in men. Some studies have it lowering estradiol others have it raise it. Has anyone ran blood work concerning this personally? I'm trying to lower my psa and am not interested in using anything that raises estradiol. Perhaps DIM could modulate an increase but this remains to be seen. Anyone?

Hi. Having followed a watch and wait protocol for prostate cancer for the past twelve years, with first three and latterly six monthly PSA tasting I have been fortunate to find that my numbers have only been rising at a low, seemingly acceptable rate. I had understood that any testosterone increased production could be an accelerant for prostate cancer. Do you consider that Boron and its possible change in the testosterone production cycle should be avoided in cases such as mine. ?? For many other reasons I am keen to try Boron supplementation. Thank you for your informative features, especially the current Boron special. G. Mc. UK.

hi there, is putting a small amount of Borax (1/8th to 1/4 of a level teaspoon) into my daily drinking water a suitable way to increase my Boron? I am battling osteoArthritis and have had SOME reduction in pain and increased in flexibility since doing this. I also notice, with my test strips that it is very alkalising, I don't know if that has a benefit to reduce bone loss by reducing acidity in the body.

Boron competes with Iodine for absorption in your Thyroid gland. If you are taking 'decent' doses of Boron for an extended amount of time, you are likely going to get Hypothyroidism. Get regularly tested for Thyroid hormones if you are on Boron supplementation of over 3mg per day (or even 3mg per day). Shocked that this fact was not covered in the video which covered so much!

But that is not boron, that is bromium, thats one of the halogens. Boron is a mineral and not a halogen.

You are both wrong! It's bromine that can compete with iodine IF you have low iodine intake. So bad when people post errors like this, check your facts before you mislead people!

@@pranjalchaubeyit says nothing about boron competing with iodine. The only definitive action of boron relating to thyroid is it's aiding calcium absorption and that can only be a good thing as both hypers and hypos have issues with high calcium lounging in their blood and not being properly carried to their bones and teeth. Boron should be standard therapy for anyone with hyperparathyroidism or just high blood calcium.
