These were class leading tools, let down by cheap ‘plasticy’ mains cords, and infamously short lengths.

I own that dewalt drill you mentioned the DW 235 g type 2 I also own a Milwaukee vintage 01-228 3/8 Carpenters drill it was converted to a metabo keyless Chuck I rebuilt that actually thanks for sharing the video I haven't seen one of those in years

Generally, the larger the chuck, the slower the RPM. 1/4" drills usually spin up to 2,500 RPM. 3/8" drills usually spin up to 1,200 RPM. 1/2" drills usually spin up to 600 RPM.
