Thanks again, Antonio! I'm happy to hear that. These Menu settings are often over-looked and that's a real shame... There are so much information to find. Have an excellent day! Cheers.

This video along with many others have been a great help! I somehow managed to mistakenly turn on my knob lock, then went into a sheer panic. So thank you so much for showing me how to get out of that dilemma 😛 I’m still quite new and I’m just trying to hook it to my computer into garage band and was wondering if there’s a way I can use KZbin backing tracks to record on one track and then play/record on a second track? I’m not much of a programmer as far as drums and bass so I just thought the KZbin backing tracks would be a simple and fun way to get started. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you so much for your content 🙏🏻

Hi there, Kevin. Thanks for your comment and question. Aaaaha, I see, well that's no good.. Hehe! I'mg glad you solved the issue! You would create two tracks, in your program, and import the backing track into the program, and then use the second track to record the GT-1's input. I have a tutorial on this, for Cubase, but things should work out the same - check it out, it's on my channel. I hope this helps, if not, then please let me know. Thank you for your kind words! Cheers.

Very informative, this is the video i wanted. I have 2 question: 1. Lets say I want to use U50 US Hard Rock and while playing i want to change it U60 Metal Corn on the song chorus, after playing the chorus i want to play back to U60. How do I programme it. Q2: what setting should I used for using Focusrite 2i2 connected to GT1 and iMac. Thank you
@GuitarNTabs Жыл бұрын
Hi there, Q1: There are several ways you could do it, for example, arrange the two patches so they'll appear right after each other. You do this by moving one of the patches right before or after the other patch. Another way, which would probably be a lot quicker and better, is to create both sounds within one single patch, by using the GT-1's Assigns. I would prefer the last option - they Assigns are killer! Q2: The Output Select should be Line/Phones, always. However, if you change setups, then you need to change the Output Select along with the setup. Also, when using the Line/Phones setting, you're using the GT-1's onboard preamp and speaker models, but you shouldn't be using those when using a regular amplifier. Create separate patches for different setups, that's very important. I hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else. Best regards.

Thanks for these videos! I just picked up a used unit from a guy here locally. The output volume is somehow tied to the pedal. Is that the way its supposed to be ? Some patches have absolutely no volume when the pedal is at the lowest and some have volume.

Got a question. I'm running a katana boss air with the gt-1 I'm not using a computer. It's simply running through the amp. What settings should my amp be on if I'm using all the affects and sounds on the gt-1 Hope that makes sense lol
@rayana42502 жыл бұрын
So all your sounds, tones and effects come from the GT1 and you use the amp as an amp only? In that case: 1. Guitar to GT1 input 2. GT1 L (mono) output to amp input 3. Set the amp to Clean 4. Set amp gain between 10 to 1 o'clock 5. Set all amp EQ knobs to 12 o'clock (you can adjust them after you create your patches on the GT1) 6. Turn off all effects on the amp 7. Adjust channel and master volumes on the amp Back to the GT1: 1. Select the patch you want 2. Click "Menu" 3. Select "output" 4. Try the different output options and see what sounds best on your amp

Hi there, David. Thanks for your comment and question. If you're using only the GT-1's effects, then you should connect the GT-1 to the input of the Katana Air, and make sure to turn off the GT-1's PREAMP-button. You don't want both the Katana and GT-1 preamp to run at the same time... Use the Katana Air's amp models to dial in your sound, and make sure to set the Output Select to either Small Amp or Combo Amp. If you want to use the GT-1's preamps, then you should connect through the Katana Air's AUX In, using the proper cable - Mini jack to 1/4 jack. Make sure to set the Output Select to Line/Phones and turn on the GT-1's PREAMP-button. I hope this helps. Cheers.

Is there an option to set the input level? My strat sounds good but when I plug in a gibson lp, it comes in hot and all the patches sound muddy and distorted.

Hi! Sadly there isn't an option to set the input level of the GT-1... Maybe it's not the change of guitars that's the issue here. Please tell me a little about your setup, and how you're using your patches, and what equipment you're using with the GT-1. Thank you. Best regards.
@Georgeggg82 Жыл бұрын
@@GuitarNTabs thanks so much for your quick reply. There's not much with regards to my setup. I don't have any external switches or pedals. I just use the gt-1 with headphones and the output set to headphones. Strat sounds totally fine but gibson sounds muddy and distorted. I don't change anything in terms of setup when I switch guitars. The only thing that comes to mind (which I haven't tried yet) is to lower the gain of the preamp when I plug in the Gibson. It's the closest alternative to input gain. I would love to hear your thoughts as I haven't found another person that knows the gt-1 as much as you

@@Georgeggg82 - My pleasure! Aha, thanks for letting me know about your setup. My best suggestion would be to set up separate patches, for the two different guitars. There will often be a noticable difference between a Strat and a Les Paul, for example with its pickups, etc. Lowering the gain could also help, but separate patches would certainly also be a good idea. That way you can get things more consistent. Let me know if you have further questions, I'd be happy to assist further. Thank you, I try to do my best. Have a great day. Best regards.
