Hi Jean. Thanks so much! Yes I am super excited to be a grandpa. It was really hard waiting to hear if she was having a boy or girl. They found out on Wednesday but wanted to share the news with everyone all at one time. They are going to be amazing parents. I am so happy for the two of them. I am excited to be a grandpa. Well, I always love working out in the morning and fasted state. Nothing in me but my work schedule and everything is changed so now I just get it in whenever I can.

First grandchild, wow, that is exciting. You are going to absolutely love being a grandparent. Being retired, I like running first thing in the morning before having breakfast. Also do enjoy an orange or mango flavored hydration drink.

Changing over to workouts on the bike is a great fitness saver ! This AM I finished a 14 mile 🏃🏽‍♂️ run after laying low for 7 weeks working my way out of proximal hamstring tendinopathy injury. Never heard of this injury before. I feel fortunate to be able to continue to possibility do my race the end of this month. I missed last month’s race and just had to accept it and move on. A Hurt tendon requires lots of PT. After a lot of work I think I’m going to be ok. So happy. Hope your rehab is cut and dry and you get over this thing quickly! You have a great attitude and you can at least keep yourself from loosing your fitness! I wish you the best! Great job Tim!

I seem to be better working out in the late afternoon, but summer is coming so I'll have to switch to early AM to beat the heat. That turnaround is always so hard.. ah well. And hey-- congrats Grandpa Tim! that's awesome news🎉

I hear you. I do the same in the summer and move my workouts early to avoid running in the high temps. In the winter I push them back to the latter part of the morning in the hopes of getting above freezing.. lol. Thanks! I am super excited to be a grandpa.
