if i dont want to install a shunt, will this inverter basically do the same?

This inverter will show battery voltage and wattage being used without installing a battery shunt. However, a battery sent one also give you a little bit more information such as total of amp hours used. I hope that helps period Thank you for the comment and happy camping.

@@fullmoonadventureclub will this bougerv inverter also show how much wattage coming in from the solar panels? i currently am using a renogy 700 watt inverter which is great but i have no idea how much wattage is coming in. i wanted to buy a victron shunt but looks complicated to install. i have 3 100watt lion energy panels and 3 power queen 100ah batteries and one day in the morning everythign was off and inverter was beeping. most important to me is knowing how full the batteries are each night before hitting the bed.

@@john-j7e7e no it will not. But your charge controller will. And you will have to have a charge controller with solar panels for any battery system.
