On my last visit to Talkeetna, I took a flightseeing trip and landed on a glacier somewhere on the mountain. It was so clear that day that the pilot flew around for an extra half hour. @Michael-rz7ic2 жыл бұрын
I am a huge fan of your channel, but more of Alaska having spent some part of 14 summers there. Your video production is second to none. But, there is just one criticism: soundtrack. Listen to the soundtrack at 6:14-yup the native soundtrack of the actual moment, birds chirping and visual s of fireweed in the wind. Then the voice-over. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the tidbits of info of what we are looking at; like the moth lifecycle. But overall the soundtrack leaves me wanting more native soundtrack of the actual moment, less dubbed in music. If that makes sense. I look forward to the next episode so much, thanks for sharing this adventure.

Mak and Owen, you know you are doing things correctly when you leave your audience in the perfect place of being satisfied, wanting the show to continue and in anticipation for what’s to come. If I may, I enjoyed the text boxes however when viewing on a phone, as many do, the text was difficult to read because it was so small. I know it’s a trade off of fitting in the needed information without covering too much screen but maybe going up one size in font would be an acceptable compromise? Enjoy your travels to Mexico and much needed warmth. If your going to Baja just keep it to yourselves ok, I want to go there soooooooooo bad and the last thing I need is more temptation….. 😉🙂
@BoundForNowhere2 жыл бұрын
Haha then I won’t tell you where we are going. So Owen is a motion graphics designer and by trade did lower thirds (those text boxes), bugs, stingers all different types of pop ups for CNN and we are working with an industry standard on those sizes however I do understand the type size changes based on volume of info needing to fit. But we did also design these to be watched on a laptop at the smallest just from the sake of getting all the details. But that is great feedback and we love to hear that sort of thing so we can take into consideration what is voice over and what is an info box 😘
@bryancohn94062 жыл бұрын
