To remove the bowden tube on a type 2 bus do you need to remove the bolts on the tranny like I see in other vids or does it just slid out of the bracket? As my new cable is only going into the tube as far as the bowden tube and I suspect it has some broken cable in it or its just bad . Thanks

I'm experiencing extreme shuddering in reverse on even a slight grade. Not on flat ground. Could that be a Bowden adjustment? The forward gears are flawless.
