Do you know where to buy a driver/transducer for these earbuds?..... i have totatly rewired my mine and made them balanced instead of using the microphone etc...

Hey backpulse, definitely indenting to do a follow up, things have just been a bit manic over the last few months. We've been putting a lot of work into the back end of things here, studio equipment, new pc's, building a new website etc... I can officially say though that this mod IS worth while

Hello. How did you get the little drivers off the earphone enclosures? did you just pull them? or did you untight the little screws on them?

Hey fiogray, you need to carefully heat the cans and extract the silver bud horn. =) What are you planning to do with yours?

Boonana J thanks. The left channel wire has a false contact that I may try to fix. Not sure if the false contact is inside of the earbud, so I may try to open it and see if I can fix something in there..

How did you open the headphone? I am considering trying to replace the entire cable, and would appreciate any tips.

Hey Engelskhorn, go for it =D You need to gently heat the cans to release the silver sound horns, and I do mean gently, otherwise you'll cook the internal cables and damage the driver. What cables you thinking about fitting them with?

In the end i just pulled them apart with 2 pliers. Slightly scratched them, but they work fine. I removed the original cable, and soldered in a new one.

+Engelskhorn Glad to hear you have made some progress with them... did you see my last comment 9 months ago on heating the cans first, as that allows them to pull apart gently without the need for force?
