He’s just shooting through a crono. I highly doubt he actually does that when focusing for a shot.

@@Bill-ysis 😂 you don’t just punch a release shooting through chrono but then shoot normal when you want. You must be a real idiot lmao

Sweet video! I've seen 8-15fps in the mod dif., In different reviews. I shoot mine daily in performance, I've gotten used to it to the point where It is as smooth as the comfort to mod to me!

I own the ss34. I decided on comfort as well. If I cared about the little speed difference, I would just up the draw weight due to that easy draw cycle instead of getting that hump at the end and also the smaller valley that the performance mode has.

Just picked up my CP30 last week. It was a breeze to get bareshaft tuned and ready to rock for that afternoon's hunt. Coming from a 2012 Diamond Deadeye, I have to say that the draw cycle in both comfort and performance is wonderful. My 70lb bow maxes out at 72.5 lbs, and it honestly feels about like drawing my old bow at 65. Being used to an old speed bow, that hump at the end in performance mode is nothing in comparison. When I go to the archery range, the CP30 is definitely the quietest bow there. (After the silencing upgrades

Good video and run down of the performance vs comfort mode. I agree 9fps isnt worth ruining a great draw cycle.

Orrrr hear me out, lower the draw weight on performance so it's the same speed, but you get less fatigue and same performance!

Thanks for adding this one. Can you comment on how the draw in performance compares to the Mathews Phase 4 33 draw?

Once I've tried the Performance mod on my Bowtech Solution. I agree that you can get used to that hump the end of the draw cycle after a half an hour of shooting. But we should not forget that the bow remains such aggressive also when cancelling a shot and letting the bow down. In Performance it goes down so fast and uncontrollable at the point where it should not, that if you twist the riser a bit while letting down the bow, the string can jump off the cams immediately. That's what happened to me...damaged cam, going to service, waiting 2-3 months for cam replacement (Europe). And unfortunately Bowtech bows tend to have a weird string angle at full draw. I mean usually the cam and the full-drawn string are not in line, that makes the string jump off even easier.

How does the x80 in comfort compare to the ss34 in performance?

Great vid! Would like to see a comparison between the SS34 and the XS80. Also, has bowtech fixed the delaminating issues of the past?

Yeah the last time that was an issue was 2014 with the prodigy and destroyer, lol fitting name
