My condolences dear sister. My heart goes out to you. We share a common road, I suspect. Like you, this could easily be a just representation of my sentiments for my spouse: Cheryl. We were married about 32.5 years when she was promoted to glory in Oct 2020. She fought a 50 -month, all out, scorched earth war with carcinoma. Not a day goes by without my thoughts turning to her; missing the quiescent, thoughtful lady that she was to everyone really, including me. There is only a presence of absence and an absence of presence. Cheryl, you should know I'm doing a pretty good job raising our three beautiful children. I know you are proud of them. @@selaxlife7621 I am sorry for the loss you experienced. I have a question though. It happened in the end and unfortunately they were the ones to decided to leave us. In some way I am still grateful that it was them that I would end up losing instead of someone else. It is sorrowing it had to happen but for some reason I am glad it was with them, that I had experienced what I had... I guess I got my heart broken the same year that summer and had to see them on a vacation (in another country because we have the same acquaintance living there). My question as follows... would it be lying to oneself if one decides to open up or allow someone else into their lives? I was wondering if it takes someone else to experience love and lose heart-ache...

Songs always take me back in time to where I can feel smell and remove memories. This is one that played a lot while I was being treated for leukemia. Music is everything aside from love. Love is the most POWERFUL frequency and you can manifest and heal with it. I have died so many times and like a Phoenix, risen from the ashes. I met my husband 23 years ago. When he went to prison, we lost eachother physically but never our love. When we first met we would fall asleep holding eachother listening to this song focusing on just the still loving you lyrics. Now that I'm 40, I truly understand the existence of this song. Almost 2 decades now of making the choice daily to continue to fight the craziness of life for the man that I love, fight for what we created many moons ago. Lord knows it has not been easy, but it's been worth it. I would do it all over again as long as I know we would finally be able to get to that porch of ours, holding hands, still deeply in love, watching the sunset, saying exhale babe, we made it, we finally made it my love❤

My husband and I almost divorced, in 2016. But neither of us really wanted to. We allowed ourselves to go against each other, for many years. Both were at fault. We decided to at least try to make it work, and to change our attitudes. Both of us started listening to each other more. And we both tried harder to help each other, and work together. Now, in 2019, working together is easy, since we aren't trying so hard to do the opposite of what the other wants. We still have squabbles. All normal relationships do. But he would tell you the same as me. We are both happier now that we've gotten focused on the real meaning of marriage. And it's going to last. Still loving that man!
@xBetterxDays5 жыл бұрын
This sounds the opposite of what marriage should be. But who am i to judge, when everyone marries the 1st person they think they love. Todays world sucks. Lol
@itsnotthesamething5 жыл бұрын
@@xBetterxDays Yes, the way we were behaving toward each other was exactly opposite of what marriage should be. But we worked hard to change it, and now we have a great marriage! And by the way, we've been married for years. Just because we almost divorced in 2016, because we let a rut get between us, doesn't mean we just jumped into marriage. No divorces here. Sorry you were victimized. I hope things get better for you.
@jimmylerma35835 жыл бұрын
..I took the part of the song out..I don't know it didn't seem right even though it was for me..it kinda seemed like it was for you and I apologize for that.. your story is so awesome. Me and my wife ended up divorcing we didn't want it that way but it happened. But we always had an understanding if we were going to argue about something that we would stop and talk about it cuz most of the time it was over something really stupid. A marriage should always be that the husband would always put 60% and the wife 40% of the marriage. None of this 50/50 stuff. A husband should always tell his wife how beautiful she is that he loves her. If he doesn't the guy around the corner will. I'm so happy for you and your husband best of luck and I wish you many more happy years have a great time. It's always good to hear a story like that thank you.. oh and don't forget always listen to this song I'll remind you of your relationship. sounds like you got a good man. So long take carei
