I loved how clean the streets were when I went. I saw about only a few pieces of litter, and when it's there, you really notice it lol. Sticks out like a sore thumb. I was too nervous to speak much though. My ability to speak betrays how much I actually know. Next time, I'll try harder. All I said were thank you's and greetings. Speaking in English is hard enough XD
@DSpaceCF
@DSpaceCF 4 жыл бұрын
Those conversations usually only arise when you're going out for a drink though. You could actually be Beckham and noone on the street would start a conversation with you, unless its some middle school girls from the countryside who want a picture with a foreigner. Happened to me quite regularly.

Like Anthony said, this video has Japanese and english captions. I find this channel amazing to learn because of this. You can watch with no subs, then Japanese subs, then English Subs, and finally pause at each line of dialogue copying and pasting words you dont know into Jisho .org! This kind of learning takes time but gives you genuine insight into how Japanese people speak the language.

You really should just take intensive Japanese classes, I don't think a bachelor's in Japanese is going to make that much of a difference, and it's not going to be better at learning japanesez in fact it might be worse. The best thing to learn Japanese would be to take intensive Japanese classes in Japan so you are immersed in the language, you can learn any language like that in a much shorter time, to a level that would take years if you stay at home studying.

Most of those are probably just fantasies just as us men have a certain way we want a woman to look. But once two people get to know each other and like the other, they don't care about how you look. It's cliche but it's true. All of us have their fantasies but in reality we just want someone who loves us and who we can love. Being hot is just like a dessert. It's nice but not necessary.

@@verifiedweeb I do want to learn it sooo so much. But visiting a language course I hope that's correct (my english isn't that good) is really expensive. And I probably won't be able to teach it my myself since there are these 3 different types of writing and that's just soo much to learn :/.

All not true: its simple ! show an appreciation & love of sake , say things like "... mmm, Im getting melon, coconut , and hay its so smooth and goes so well with Oden etc., ", study it, know why rice polishing ratio is important, the names of differing quality levels, and learn the koji mould secrets to good nihonshu making , and learn food pairings = success to the max. every time. You might thank me later ...oh and learn a fake smile , j girls are great at this.

To be fair...a man is supposed to enter an unknown restaurant or bar first...to check if it might be dangerous for her. But he should then hold the door open for her. If he knows the place already he can let her enter first...

Well I do love the country and would love to see alot of things, I'm not really bothered by what other people do around me, I guess i'm kinda tall although I don't get the importance of that and I say things as they are. (This is important for me too though and I'm definently not into the stereotypical "men lead the way" thing and that it's seen as a negative if men ask about their opinions on things or when making plans. So I would need to search a bit for a more progressive woman that might be tired of the Japanese standards and find it refreshing with a relationship with more equal roles and expectations.) I can't grow a beard and aren't muscular at all though lol. But I don't care about being "popular" either, one will do.

It’s gonna be hilarious when a ton of western kids with a slight 6-pack try to show off their N5 Japanese and karaoke skills while flexing their arms and talking about their days on the high school basketball team, thinking the oo’s and aw’s from the girls means they’re really popular...when in reality the girls are actually thinking “this guy is so fucking full of himself...just keep laughing and praising him, it’ll be over soon” lmao
