Don't do the curtain bangs with curly hair. Other than that, any layered hairstyle will look good with curled hair ❤ because it takes the heaviness off and let's the curls bounce more
@raraavis77822 ай бұрын
Curls pretty much always profit from layering. Makes them 'spring up' and look more pronounced. And prevents the dreaded 'flat on top, bushy in the ends' triangle shape. But yeah, don't do bangs, unless you're prepared to style them every morning.

I have set up what I call the Sensory Salon for my 2 boys with Autism. We have a tablet and earbuds, coloring books, a doodle board, and magnets. Just different options to keep their attention off the haircut. The only part I buzz is around the ears and the back of the neck because buzzing is the worst part for mine. Also, when I know I'm almost finished, I will say "give me 10 more snips", then we count down together. I know every child has his or her thing but these are just a few things that work for us. Hope this helps and best of luck!

For anyone with long hair who struggles with the high ponytail: I find it so much easier to just flip your hair downwards and let gravity help you. Maybe an obvious advice, but I have been doing this cut for 2 years and just recently had that idea. 🙈

i gave my daughter the butterfly cut following your tutorial and it TRANSFORMED her curly hair! it used to go all frizzy and poofy at the ends but kind of flat on top, she legit had a triangle head and it was such a pain to manage. with the butterfly cut, she just blossomed. her hair falls naturally around her head, it's so much easier to manage, and it actually CURLS like it's supposed to! if you could come up with a similar cut with just a bit less distance between the short pieces and the long pieces, i would love to see it!

Jepp. Fellow German here. I have really thick and dense, stubbornly wavy hair and no matter what length or hairstyle, I only ever seem to get a 'standard' haircut, that doesn't really work for me. I started doing the butterfly cut after growing out my failed attempt at a bob two years ago and while the result isn't perfect, it looks better than what hairstylists have given me in the past. And it's *free*.
