I am 74 years old and was having horrible anxiety - felt like a weight on my chest all the time!!! My Dr. Recommended Lexipro (lowest dosage possible) and within a week I was experiencing terrible gastric pain/issues!! Dr. Thought it could not possibly be the meds, but changed me to a different one - also lowest dosage - same exact reaction, but so bad I thought I would need to go to the ER!! My body cannot tolerated these meds - I have not tried Ashwaganda, but honestly almost afraid to swallow any more pills at this point!!! My daily walks and quiet time do help! Thank you so much for sharing your story and making some great recommendations - especially prayer!!!

Thank you for talking about your story. I had the same type of brain fog two years ago when I was 58. It finally just went away. I was pretty upset when it first started.

I can’t believe what a good doctor you found! I can’t take ashwaganda - some people can’t - it does not work for everyone. I do take L- Thealine And magnesium. Thank you for your transparency

I am also in my 50s and have experienced these symptoms. It's menopause or peri-menopause. Please consider reading The New Menopause by Dr. Mary Claire Haver, or The Great Menopause Myth by Johnson and Claps.

You should be very thankful you couldn’t handle that anti anxiety drug. I was put on one 20 years ago for sleep and I’m still trying to come off it. It’s literally impossible to get off of and has destroyed my life

people make fun of me, but i downgraded from a smart phone to a basic flip phone (no internet). for several reasons... 1) get rid of the temptation to constantly check emails on my phone 2) flip phone easier to use in emergency (physical dial pad) 3) less exposure to harmful EMFs/radiation, since i don't have my phone with me all day.... now, i realize some people must have a smartphone (for their jobs, and mobile internet access). thankfully, mine doesn't require that... so it made it much easier to downgrade, and when at home, i use my landline phone (and the cell phone is turned off/put away). No tv at night either... i sleep very well, usually fall asleep within 15 minutes of hitting the pillow.

Thank you so much for sharing. I'm 58I am a mom of 5 children biological. My oldest son passed away 7 years ago. Pretty sure he was murdered by his girlfriend but we couldn't prove it, but I know what God showed me and I raised his 2 daughters, but I helped him raise 3 of them, and to the eldest one went to live with her mom. And I raised his twins from 12 years on there, now about to be 20 and my husband and I in 2022, we gots are great nice and in 2023, we got her sister thing, the first one we got at 3 months, the second 1. We got it 2 days. We have since adopted them. And we're raising them, I've asked, God, you sure have a sense of humor I've been raising kids since I was 11, because I helped my mom raise my brother's cuz. She worked all the time and my dad did too. I told God I said, well, you give me these 2 babies keep me healthy. I have started taking the magnesium. That you take the one that you recommended. I just ordered my second bag. And I am one of those people that have a very hard time sleeping at night. And it's just because I feel as if I have so much going on in my life that I never get a break. But listen to you made me really realize a lot of things. So thank you so much for sharing this. Be the year. No, may God bless you, abandongly.

you should also research magnesium bicarbonate... it's the best absorbable form of magnesium. You can make it at home (for pennies), but it requires a soda maker.... i can't live without it.... it helped my foggy brain there's videos on YT about how to make the magnesium bicarbonate (real easy)
