What I love about Maangchi is that after all these years, the success she's had, and everything that KZbin has become, she's still just doing her thing. No pretense, no fancy editing or camera work, and you can tell she probably hasn't updated her AV equipment much (which is SO Korean 😆). Her effortless natural charm and authentic recipes are all she needs. Don't ever change, 아줌마! ❤️

I like the Korean tradition of serving many small dishes to offer a variety of textures and flavors. I generally prefer this over eating a larger portion of just one dish. Thanks for sharing.

I love the context Maangchi gives to the history & value of each dish. She makes beef in the olden days of Korea sound just as valuable & precious as the kind of Wagyu that comes with a certificate when you purchase. I recently went on the carnivore diet after a long time researching, and have learned the true value of beef. The way Korean cuisine treats every cut of beef, even the ones we wouldn't recognize here in the US, profoundly makes me appreciate this time period in which we live where we can have it just about any time we want
