People can be so obsessed with avoiding trail damage or rust that they don't enjoy a capable off road vehicle. For my last several new 4x4s, I've gone out and got some scratches and dents and trail damage -- and on the beach, some rust -- on them right away, and then I don't worry about it any more. Enjoy the Gladiator -- it looks great! The point wasn't to get a "pavement princess" or "mall crawler" -- the point was to have fun, which you guys do. It's how the mechanicals work that counts -- not what the sheet metal looks like!

Looks like you had fun and didn't break so I guess that's a plus, I've watched some 4 wheelers up in Canada that go thru some really narly trails and woods and you wouldn't come out of those unscathed, but then they had fully built jeeps.

I put the paint protection film on my fenders and doors and little bit on my hood to protect against the tree branch scratches. Keep up the good videos

Maybe take it through the things you did on your TJ. To compare. I know people who have that. And a tj. They state the wheel base is longer. If not lifted it gets hung up. Now I’m talking they do extreme they have the jeep buggies. Hope it all works out. I’ll be waiting to see the mods.

I got rocker panel damage my second day of owning my Rubicon. It’s now pin stripped to hell. I recently almost rolled it, but the top caught a tree. It’s for off roading so it will get messed up. If it’s a problem…. Wrong vehicle and wrong hobby.

All that you say is true for those with deep pockets, I built myself an off-road jeep to beat so if it breaks, I'm not out transportation, just load it on the trailer and take it home to repair.

Not a real jeep trail if that unlifted stock gmc can drive along with you guys. I know its a new gladiator and your afraid to mess it up, but your TJ is still king, because your arent afraid with it.

That’s one of the best trails around here but that was the north side. My first time on the north side and I have to say I was disappointed. The south side is incredible, so much space to explore and obstacles as far as the eye can see. I’m hoping to get out there one more time before season ends

It’s an AT4 GMC in essence it’s their most Rubicon comparable, recommend you check them out great trucks!
