I agree with Brandon, simple rules of business. If you didn't invest, your an employee. Sounds like those guys wanted to reep the rewards, without taking the RISK.

Facts... fool think cuz he flip burgers at McDonald's, give good customer service, clean the restaurant and take care of it he deserve a piece of the company.. no, u get a paycheck for fulfilling your job description. If Brandon putting up all the money and covering their expenses he own the entity no matter what talent or viewers they bring unless a contract says different. Steven A don't have ownership in First take but he is def the talent behind the success of the show. Same thing

@@mjohnson153 McDonalds is an established business when a cook goes in there to get minimum wage. When you start with 4 dudes to start a McDonald’s for the first time just cause one of the four has the vision, helps establish the business side doesn’t mean the guys who came up with the recipe and helped out with the service guys should get no percent of the company

@@SummonDRAGOON McDonald's is a franchise which means an individual has to put up money to buy the entity. That makes that person the owner. If u don't buy in you don't get percentages. You simply get paid for services rendered. They were supposed to buy in but they didn't. Instead, they want to put up social currency when Brandon is putting in hard earned $$.

@@mjohnson153 No one was required to commit because there was no formal agreement in place. As the podcast gained momentum, Brandon had the option to reimburse himself for his contributions and distribute shares among all the founders. However, driven by greed, he opted to retain everything for himself. The consequences are evident now, with him being the so called "owner" lamenting financial losses while the former team thrives with one of the top podcasts in the industry.

They collectively invested their time and efforts in building the podcast. Brandon had the opportunity to reimburse himself and share the remaining gains with the team. However, driven by greed, he chose to keep everything, resulting in his current financial struggles. Dawg is crying about being in the negative while his former team enjoys the success of having one of the most popular podcasts.

The show wouldn't have made it without them. That's being proven more and more. What they lacked in up front money they more than made up for in making the channel a success and could've had more in the future.

I don't think it about being honest, you could be honest and someone doesn't like what you said or propose. It more about the communication or understanding that is going on and personal relationships they had and feel untitled to have more money but he mentioned that Ocho deserved more because of what he bring status wide and that true. but I still think Brandon didn't handle the best way but let enjoy both podcasts

@@yepwhy777 it seems or you know so, I really think alot people watching the pivot for being bias and previous to that Brandon was new to the space so when we don't allow people to grow and get better, we act like on the pivot they are perfect and do so much research. we gotta but them against each other. Brandon is doing a great job having these one on one with them and seeing the players as human and on the pivot they are balance because they have Ryan Clark if you only had channing the structure would be good because that not his strength.

I would like both parties involved to sit down and discuss this because both parties tell two different stories. You don't have to agree, but I think all parties involved love one another. Brandon seems to be hurt and can only be healed when they discuss this like grown men.

So you're telling me they should have been forced to signoff and invest in Brandon's vision despite not being down for it? They wanted and believed in the PODCAST. Not all the extra stuff Bmarsh was tryna line up. And all of the extra stuff doesn't have any legs without the PODCAST. The PODCAST was the engine and Chan, Fred, and Ocho was what made that engine go, that can't be denied.

The nuance is that Brandon has this stance when it comes to him, but opposes this stance when it comes to professional athletes and the sports leagues. It's a very ironice situation.
